Stopped in here for some drinks and appetizers and sat at the bar. Very roomy and lively lounge and bar area. Super friendly service and really good appetizers we had fries and meatballs both were outstanding! Also, I had three cocktails, and all were top-notch! When in Detroit again, I will definitely stop in again! Highly recommend checking it out for yourself!

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday over brunch at the Apparatus Room. I had known about The Apparatus Room but this was my first time experiencing the true gem that it is. From the open-air, loungey dining room vibe, to the musician trio’s elegant tunes, to the thoughtfully curated and delicious food, to the impeccable, seamless service that Gerard delivered, my guests and I had a memorable, jovial, and heart-warming experience. The staff even signed and Gerard delivered a birthday card, making the overall experience that much more exquisite. So glad to have spent my birthday here, will absolutely be back to enjoy the pleasantries of this amazing establishment and its staff, including Gerard.

Stayed at the Detroit Foundation Hotel for NCAA Sweet Sixteen. After an incredible lunch (Smash Burger and Bibb salad), we returned for breakfast the next day for The breakfast sandwich and yogurt parfait. Dinner that night was spectacular - sourdough bread, tuna crudo, swarma potatoes, porchetta for two, and strawberry shortcake. Cocktails and wine were incredible. This is a must for any foodie visiting Detroit! Can’t wait to come back!

The Apparatus Room was a great dining experience. My husband and I enjoyed every dish that was served to us. Service was everything you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber!

Food was very bad. I informed the waitress of my allergies, and she confirmed them with me. However, I still received a dessert that ended up containing nuts or eggs, both of which I am allergic to. We ended up having to cancel the rest of the evening's plans and was instead sick the evening. They clearly do not take allergies seriously. I contacted them regarding this and am still waiting to hear back. Would not go here again.

Food was excellent and fresh -had the gnocchi, parsnip soup, and cauliflower. The carrot appetizer was delicious. They make excellent mock-tails here. Environment was great-not too loud. Server Lauren was amazing and professional!

The quality of the food is poor. The risotto with kale for $26 is very overpriced and the risotto was stale. I’ve been there a few times and the quality of the food continues to disappoint. No more
