The Rattlesnake Club is a great standby and an old favorite. Its location makes it better suited for the summer since it's one of the few restaurants close to the river and Aretha Franklin amphitheater.The food is solid, and there's a great variety, so there's something for everyone.

When we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and a “Happy Anniversary.” The ambiance was very nice, and our server was knowledgeable and efficient. The drinks and food were very good. I had the pomatini and hubby had the Pinot noir. The beet salad was a great starter. My lamb shank fell off the bone - so good. Chef made a vegetarian dish for my husband, that was also good. Food and drinks were excellent. Service was strange Had a bossy waitress. Not customer oriented and very much out of line for a restaurant of this caliber. More like a diner waitress. The place was empty on a Saturday night, so there was no excuse not to have anything but an excellent experience.
