We visited on a Saturday in March. We ordered a Reuben, bowl and pizza for the kids. There are a few seats inside and a large patio with heaters. We took our food nextdoor to Erratic Ale, with they allow. We really enjoyed all the food. The kids weren't enthusiastic about the pizza because it's different from what they are used to. We liked it. There was a long wait for the food, about a half hour. We didn't mind because we were at the brewery. But if you are short on time, plan accordingly. Free WiFi and ample parking. It's right next to the Border to Border trail, which is a huge benefit.

We have been purchasing Raterman sourdough bread for the past 5 years, since Nick first starting selling at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market. This has been the only sourdough I have found locally that has both a 24 + hour rise (improves digestibility) and is also 100% whole grain. We have searched Whole Foods, specialty shops, and local artisan vendors. Additionally, the flavor and texture have been amazing! My super picky daughter loves it and I love that she is enjoying something really healthy for a change. We make special trips, 30 minutes each way, to Raterman bread haus to stock up on this special bread. We buy 7 pre sliced loaves and then freeze it for a delicious treat in the weeks to come. I love the new offerings at their new bistro- the sourdough pizza has been phenemonal. Most of the seating was outdoors though, not sure how that would work now that the weather has changed.

Feel so grateful to have this nearby. The food is excellent quality. We've gone at least four or five times already. Dexter has become a foodie destination and this place is one of the best!!!

We have been here several times and have excellent food and service EVERY time! It’s so nice to be able to take a loaf of bread home for the week after having a meal here. Today we stopped by to grab two loaves of bread.. my kids ate an entire loaf already!

My wife read about Raterman’s so we stopped in to give it a try. You walk in and you have two choices, the door on the left or the one on the right. It’s a guessing game. Eventually we figured it out, ordered and went to the other side to order beverages. In a bit our buzzer went off so my wife went to pick up our lunch. But it wasn’t for us - they had meant to buzz someone else. After another wait my wife finally brought lunch over. My first bite and I tasted burnt charred bread. What? At least the burnt side of my sandwich was on the bottom so I wouldn’t see it when I took a bite. Or maybe I would have taken it back. Nope. Got rid of it and left. I don’t think I’ll go back. I did message the owner who said they try to maintain quality and he was sorry that mine didn’t meet that quality. Nah - that sandwich was made by someone who didn’t care what they sent out - how that’s a trained quality standard I’ll never understand.
Wow! Delicious, fresh, flavorful, great value. Highly recommend. Super service today. 200 or so runners eating, drinking, etc. people everywhere and yet the wait was nothing. Impressive, fun atmosphere.
