Some friends invited me to Raterman's last Friday night. I really wanted to like this place, but I guess you have to plan carefully if you want to come away satisfied. We showed up around 5:30, and ordered some food to start with, and some drinks from the bar next door (Erratic Ale). They share seating space, and outside was packed, so we sat inside in the bar. We were enjoying ourselves until we decided that we were still hungry, so we went to order pizza, only to find out...
Raterman's is one of those places you can’t believe you get to have right in your backyard. Everything they make feels intentional and dialed in.
The Reuben is easily the best I’ve had in Michigan. Perfect balance, incredible flavor, and clearly made with top-tier ingredients. Their pizza is just as impressive, with a crust that only comes from truly great sourdough. Speaking of which, their sourdough bread is next level and worth the trip on its own.

HOWEVER the order to delivery process is completely broken. 90 minutes to make a pizza, app says food is ready when it's not, front of house loses takeout orders and gives you cold pizza when they find it. This is over multiple experiences not just one.
