My fiancé and I were in the area visiting our wedding venue and decided to stop in for dinner. The food and atmosphere were both incredible! We live 2 hours away and are already trying to plan our next trip back.
It’s so awesome having such a nice restaurant so close to home. We don’t have to go to Mishawaka to have a really nice dinner. One of the reasons I love Woodfire is that it’s perfect for a celebratory dinner, or a casual lunch or dinner. The food is 10/10 every time we go. Our first visit to The Wood Fire Trattoria was wonderful. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we arrived about 5:30 pm. We each ordered one of the specials for the evening and drink. The seafood ravioli was some of the best I have had in ages. The sauce creamy and smooth with perfectly cooked scallops and shrimp over the top. The bourbon soaked walleye with rice pilaf was also very good and a nice portion size. We were pleased with both our meals and plan to return again.
