If I could give a 4.5 I would. The environement is relaxed and the happy hour is a must. The food is nothing spectacular but for the price and environment I'd give it a try.

Had the fried green tomatoes, chicken biscuit, and the buttermilk chicken salad. The food was excellent and the portions were very generous. Our server, Keegan, was extremely friendly and attentive. Struck up a conversation with the host on the way out and he was a super nice guy as well. This place is doing it right, will definitely be back soon.

I have been eyeing this place every time I have been at Bowdie's and saying I need to try this place next. I finally got the chance as I was visiting my cousin. We were seated right away on a Sunday evening. There was complimentary hush puppies which were warm and crunchy, a great way to start the meal. We tried 3 different soups, the special clam chowder, the she crab soup, and the gumbo. I never had clam chowder that was spicy like that before and I really liked it. The she crab was a little more on the sweet side and the gumbo was pretty good. I had the shrimp po boy and really liked how uniquely they prepared it. It was flavorful and the texture combination was done well. The crab macaroni and cheese was good as well as the beef pot roast. The desserts were a bit extra for me the ice cream box cake was more on the too sweet side for me and the key lime pie was a little extra tart for my taste but still very good. Service was ok. I know our waitress was busy but she was already giving us our bill without offering us dessert.

The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is peaceful. I really did love the service they were amazing. The food tho, wasn't our cup of tea. Mine wasn't bad, boyfriend got deviled eggs and they were deep fried. The roast my mom got had fat she had to pick out. But it's just everyone's different with taste buds.
My boyfriend and I went here for dinner and it was absolutely amazing! If you haven't tried this place, you need to ASAP! Everything we had was wonderful. I can't wait to come back again in the very near future.

We go to this restaurant frequently for several reasons; their food is delicious, the service and courteous and professional, and the location is convenient. Carolina Lowcountry Kitchen has great food that is reasonable priced, staff that is prompt, attentive, and friendly. Their happy hour specials are a "must try!" Highly recommended!

Cute little place. Friendly service. The corn bread was burnt and dried out. Complete opposite of the chicken and waffles. The waffle was saturated in syrup and limp. Fried chicken was delicious.
