We made the 50 minute trek for an afternoon day date and were not disappointed by the food or service. There were not many other diners as it was 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon and were immediately seated. Donovan, our server, showed up less than two minutes later with water and a basket of hush puppies and dipping sauce. They were delicious! A nice crust on the outside and soft on the inside. Happy hour runs from 3-5 on Saturday so we took advantage by ordering the $5 deviled eggs...
