9 Best Indian Restaurants near East Lansing

“AWESOME, been here twice this weekend. Sunday's lunch buffet is GREAT.“

“Loved everything we tried - cauliflower dish, chili chicken, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, and the naan. Will 💯 be making this a regular stop!“

“I’ve been to Swagath many times over the past few months, and it never disappoints! The food is absolutely incredible by far the best I’ve ever had and the service is always top-notch. Every visit feels like a great experience. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re truly missing out!“

“Every time I have gone to Swagath Food i get help finding the things I need. They have a wonderful assortment of Indian food and all the puja items you might need. I highly recommend Swagath Foods!“

“10/10 best Indian food you can ever eat!!! The place is cozy, extremely quiet, and clean.

I got the Lamb Masala and Chicken 65 biryani alongside with Garlic naan bread, with their Masala Chai!!

I cannot express how delicious all of it was, including their Masala Chai, it is freshly brewed on the spot and absolutely divine.

Their customer service is amazing, they were all extremely patient and kind when explaining their dishes to me, making my ordering process smooth and enjoyable.

The atmosphere in here is amazing really beautiful decorations, nice lightning, and a lovely place to chat and eat your food!!

I highly recommend coming to this place if you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine!!“

“We stopped at Flavours of India in Lansing while driving from Chicago to Canada, and honestly, we’re so glad we did! 😍

We tried the Paneer Hariyali Korma and it was SO good — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The paneer was soft and the flavors were just amazing. Garlic naan was so thin and perfectly cooked. They outdid my expectation. They also gave us complimentary rice and papad, which was such a nice touch!

The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Service was great and everyone was really nice.

And I completely forgot to take pictures because I was SO hungry 😂 I just kept eating until my plate was completely clean! That probably tells you everything you need to know about how much I enjoyed the food. 😋

Definitely a great spot to stop for a delicious Indian vegetarian meal while traveling. Would happily come back again!“

“The food is tasty. Both the lamb and goat biryani were HOOOOT. A bit too much spice for mine and my wife's comfort, but tasty nonetheless. I should ask what they recommend for dishes with less spice next time.
I like the environment of the restaurant (we did take-out), but I did have to ask the staff to check the status of their bathrooms to restock on supplies.“

“The staff was very friendly. The food was really good. I will definitely go back“

“Great food and service! We had a great time with my family. Try the goat dum Biryani!“
