You strut into that building for one thing and one thing only. The CHICKEN. you take that first bight. Napkin drop. Wow. In awe. Amazingly delicious. The creaminess of canes sauce and the warm crispy friend chicken.. what could be better. You move to the texas toast. Perfect garlic notes. The building is lively full of tranding hits and happy people. You walk out full and happy.
Food was good, service was ok, price fair. Honestly the worst part about the visit was having to go to East Lansing. Traffic and parking does not make it easy to stop and grab a quick bite or get it to go. The Canes sauce was really good, but was surprised by the lack of sauce options. No BBQ sauce?!? Seriously?!?!?
Great food always pretty fast even when it’s busy enough spots for people to sit usually also great location. One of my favorite spots to get food in East Lansing will always be happy to grab some canes
