“This was a great little place that we had tried to find one other time and couldn't but this time we were successful. They have a huge menu with all of the normal Thai dishes that I was expecting but also many interesting twists or special dishes. I went with the tried and true peanut curry and asked for the spice level "hot" which was the top of what they advertised on the menu. It had great flavor and tasted a little different than what I've had from that same dish, but in a good way. It was hot but maybe a bit less than I had hoped for and we were told Thai hot is another option (albeit scary sounding). If I was in the area I would certainly return“
“When I visited the store, I was not expecting there to be an actual restaurant! And it closes at the same time the store does, which is very convenient. So while you're shopping, you can wait here for your food to finish. They know how to cook. I got the crab and tomato soup (it included imitation crab. Thought it would be real crab). I wish they would include a soy sauce packet with takeout in case we want to season the suit more. If they usually do that, I couldn't find a packet in mine. My seat was ready in about 20 minutes.“
“The good is worth it every time I go. This place is my go to when I am feeling the need to eat food outside of the campus dining halls. The wait for your food is not too long. The food itself is very good and always keeps me wanting to come back!“
“Amazing food. My husband and I like to try new/different food when we come across a place. I am honestly not sure that they would have anything that we wouldn't enjoy on the menu. I love that I don't tolerate spice but my husband loves spicy food and we both were able to choose our level of spiciness. The owners were very kind and helpful.“
“The Thai food is fabulous. I am ordered the coconut curry and rice noodle with beef. Thinking with chicken be a better pick. My roots are are a tradition English meat and potato. I wanted my to be experience the the Thai flavors. THE BEST!!!! ,,,, My wife commented on the excellent SPRING ROLLS. The pastry very good, but the filling in ingredients the best. We my ordered more to take home. The Decor is lovely and the restaurant clean. Where be we live in a minimum hour and half from any Thai restaurant. So memorable a must, and it is memorable. So, get out the MapQuest, or GPS. Okemos is just East of Lansing. This probably 15 minutes north east of the University.“
“Okay, the food is delicious. I’m obsessed with the peanut curry and tom kha soup in particular. But tonight I ordered through GrubHub and it ended up not going through after waiting over an hour (GH said they spoke with Thai Village and that they said they canceled my order because they were out items… which is a lie, and GH is dead to me after making stuff up and trying to make this business look bad). Then when I spoke to Thai Village about the whole mess, the staff was very kind and apologetic (even though it wasn’t even their fault), and I had mentioned how I was sick and not wanting to do pick up… And they then proceeded to give me an extra order of crab rangoons with my order and this really thoughtful note! TLDR; the food is delicious, AND the staff is very thoughtful and kind on top of it.“
“I work was working at Gier community center the day I visited. I had an hour for lunch and had been curious about this place for a while. Pretty good Thai food. Decent flavor, seems pretty authentic. I got the pad Thai. I liked it, but I have another favorite that it didn’t quite live up to. Definitely don’t regret stopping though! When I went in to pick up my order, it was hot and ready, very quick, and the lady at the register was so nice and had a lovely smile! Would definitely visit again if I was in that area. ☺️Vegetarian options: Thai food generally has good vegetarian options, but I was really psyched that they had good tofu. It was fried nice and firm. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer was that they added 2 dollars for the tofu. The place I frequent near my apartment is about a dollar less for the exact same dish, tofu and all.“
“THE BEST THAI IN LANSING. Hands down. Anything on the menu rocks, and they have generous portions. If you like it really spicy, they will make you sweat! I take everyone here, and the food has been consistently delicious over the years and years I've been coming here.“
“I recommend that you not joke on the phone while placing your order. In my opinion, this is the BEST Chinese restaurant in the Greater Lansing area. While placing my order, I joked about it taking 20 minutes. Then I drove 15 minutes and sat in the restaurant for another 30 minutes. I watched people come and go. I heard the girl tell at least 5 people, on the phone, "15 to 20 minutes"! She told a walk-in customer 20 minutes. Well, I finally got my order and headed straight for the Mexican restaurant that I am making a fully functional ecommerce website for, for free. I get to be his delivery service. I spent $23 at Ming's and $15 at the Mexican Restaurant. Tonight's meal cost me $38. No, I ain't eating Ming's food, ever again. If joking on the phone causes this, I don't trust them to not put a great big snot ball in my food. Great Food, just don't piss them off, or you will be George on Seinfeld dealing with the Soup Nazi! I will be marketing the websites I make for Free in a Newspaper I will be handing out all around the Greater Lansing Area. Hopefully, my current bad attitude will calm down before the first edition because I am now thinking about a section for, "This Restaurant is outstanding, But, ...".“
“The Crab Rangoon Nachos were amazing! If you love Crab Rangoon, this shareable dish is truly heaven. To add to the impressive quality and quantity, the girl behind the counter was the best. She provided the best customer service I’ve had in a while.“
“The wait was over an hour, even though we had ordered on line. They still were taking walk in orders, when clearly it was overwhelming. But it was Christmas Day and the food was good. Favorite was Gen Tso chicken, steamed dumplings, bbq strips, and house special lo mean. Fidnt care for Hunan chicken, beef n broccoli, or egg rolls. I'd like to try again when it's not a holiday. “
“I love this place, I have had takeout several times before and decided to dine in, interior is lovely, the exterior is very unassuming but it disguises a very nice place, definitely want to come in from the alley to park. Road noise from Grand River is pretty high but I didn't find it spoiled my experience.Parking: You want to go around and enter from the alley behind, the driveway from Grand River is pretty narrow and also the only way to walk from the parking lot to the front.“
