Tropical Smoothie Cafe in East Lansing

“A few times a month I get breakfast here, but I had terrible luck with a smoothie made this morning. I felt terribly sick and threw it up 20 minutes later. I called back to let them know an ingredient they had might’ve expired, and I threw it away in fear of food poisoning. They were gracious enough to offer to remake it to me if I came back, so
when I did later in the afternoon, I asked about the remake and they were able to do it for me. The person who gave it to me said “hope it tastes better” and I thought to defend myself but I knew she didn’t care. Having worked in food service I understand people take advantage of the system but that wasn’t my intention. I just wanted to voice my gratitude for remaking the drink.
I’d stay and eat here if the music wasn’t so loud.“

“I've been coming here since 2020 and its only been getting better and better throughout the years. The staff is fast and friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Seems to have gotten less popular these last couple of years as there's rarely a crowd, but for my money they're the most reliable smoothie place in town.“
