Ice Cream Shops near Elk Rapids

“Pros: REALLY delicious ice cream, and a friendly owner who comes up with creative and yummy flavors. The servings are generous. The flavors change often, which is fun. Prices are reasonable too.

Cons: Slow service, partly because they have obscure flavor labels like “animal kingdom” with no explanation, so customers have to ask for descriptions of the flavors constantly. They don’t post current flavors on the window either, so that slows it down too.
It is a cash-only establishment, tho it has an ATM inside.
They scoop cones in a strange way that makes them hard to eat: giant scoops that overflow the cone, bits falling off, but they tax cups. I’ve had to grab a cup and spoon anyway just to keep my ice cream from falling on the ground. I mean it’s nice to get so much ice cream, but it’s hard to eat! Lol
I will keep coming back forever, but they could make it a better experience for people with a few simple changes.“

“Lakeside Dip has been a family favorite for years, (to the point that the staff is starting to wonder if we have our own place, or if we just camp out on their grounds ?). And we have all really enjoyed meeting the new owners this summer. The more regular hours also mean that we can get our fix more frequently.
