Food is a little pricey but very plentiful and good. Server seemed not to understand English well but June stepped in to help and proved to be a breath of fresh air. He was attentive , efficient, friendly and offered good customer service .1/19/2024Came back for a repeat. June was phenomenal, Chris served up a delicious and unique adult concoction that titillated the taste buds and delighted the senses.. Food was plentiful like before, beautiful presentation and was hot. Only suggestion is when serving dishes ordered at the same time, serve them together. Will be back to try something new.

What a sad replacement for Tribute restaurant. We’d been meaning to try this place for a while, finally went tonight. The ambiance is OK, although it was more intimate and cozy when it was Tribute. We arrived, were seated right away, and they gave us these chip like appetizer on the house. They were actually really good. Took a minute but we placed our order, two dishes and my husband ordered a hot & sour soup. Took about 30 minutes for his soup to come! Strike one. The soup was decent. Our food was taking a long time, so I asked for a refill of my pop but was told they didn’t have free refills. Now I’d get it if this was a fancy establishment and they gave me a can of pop, but no it was a fountain drink that cost them 3 cents at the very most. Strike two. About 50-55 mins after we arrived, our food had still not come, and everyone around us (those who came before and after us) were already eating. As we had to leave soon to get our kids, my husband asked when our food would be out and the server said he’d go check. He came back with my husband’s lamb dish, but said my chicken still needed about 8 more minutes. This was strike three. At the point, we asked them to cancel both meals and just tell us how much we had to pay for the soup and my pop. The server left and came back with the bill (you would think they would not charge us as a way to retain our business). Apparently the food came out as we were leaving, just over an hour after we had arrived.To be honest, I felt bad for the server, as he seemed to be the only one trying to service all the tables.

This Hunan cuisine is definitely the best Hunan cuisine I have experienced since coming to the United States. I highly recommend the chopped pepper fish. It is really fresh and tender. I miss China. Our waiter is a guy wearing glasses. He introduced it very well and has a good service attitude. It was also very good. It happened to be the one year anniversary and the waiter gave us a 20% discount. In the end, we gave a 50% tip. I will come back again! ! !
Excellent food and service. Drinks were tasty. Would eat here again. Loved the decor too, not pretentious. Huge menu too.

Probably my new favorite Chinese restaurant in the area! I came here around 1pm on a Sunday and was seated without any waiting (but you could make a reservation online!). We were immediately greeted by welcoming staff. The decor and ambience were beautiful--lots of red and gold and dark wood. This definitely feels like a space you could hold larger events and there were several private rooms ranging from ones that seat 2-14. We started off with drinks, which were all delicious and boozy. Our favorite was the Shiangmi blossom (which is about to hit the menu for good soon! For food, we tried the soup dumplings, happy family soup, green beans, seafood and tofu, and sweet and sour pork. Honestly, every dish was a hit. Food was authentic and flavorful and each dish had beautiful presentation. 100% will return, and probably very soon.

I've loved this building since Tribute--it's elegant, has a high ceiling, and ShiangMi has added exquisite decor and jazz music. The food is a bit pricey but worth every cent. We had a table of four and ordered four entrees, two veggies, soup, rice, and dumplings. Everything was beautifully presented and off the charts amazing in taste. We ordered both desserts that they had available and they were soooo good! The host was very friendly and well informed on all of the food and even various aspects of Chinese culture. It was a very special experience.

Food and cocktails were very good. We had the steamed dumplings and ginger shrimp. Both were perfectly prepared. The food is served family style. The interior was decorated nicely. Will definitely be back.
