I have been going to China for over 30 years. ShangMi is the first U.S. Chinese restaurant I've been to that has REAL Chinese food. Everything is amazing and the Hot & Sour soup is the best I've had in China or anywhere else!
The food, drinks and service was anything but great.
I brought travelers from out of town and all enjoyed the dinner. My personal favorite was ShangMi duck. People were very helpful and knows what the service is.

Decided to give this place another try. 3rd visit in as many years. Had lunch this time around. Food was yummy, same as previous visits. Staff super friendly. Unfortunately they just aren't very good or organized. Took forever again to even put in our orders. Despite the great food, it's just too frustrating dealing with the disorganized service. And it hasn't improved since day one. Dropped the service rating from 2 stars...
