“My husband and I finally tried Lucky Brunch yesterday morning and I wish we have tried it sooner! Our server was Vera and she was super nice and told us all about Lucky Brunch and the items on the menu. We ordered the veggie omelette and added ham, smoked salmon benedict, a side of biscuits & gravy, and the blintz crepe… a lot of food I know but we couldn’t narrow it down so we had a whole second meal with our leftovers. Everything was great and I can’t wait to go back and try more!“
“Was a cool little shop. You order completely through your own phone which made it easy to split checks. The espresso was good in the CappuccinoHardly bitter. Milk could’ve been foamed better though.SO said her chai was just ok. Little to milky and little too cinnamonyOmelette was good, nice and soft. Surprisingly good fruit cup, usually they’re sad everywhere lolChicken sausage breakfast was solid. Could’ve been a little more flavorful but definitely good still especially with the cool hot sauce they had.OHHH. Forgot cream scone with lemon curd was amazing.Definitely would come again!“
“Fantastic brunch. Definitely worth the wait. The staff were extremely friendly and the high quality food was quick. The Bacon Avo Omelette with their homemade biscuits was the perfect combination. Nice American diner style atmosphere. Would recommend again and again.“
“I finally had a chance to visit the highly regarded, Hudson Cafe. It was worth the wait...delicious food, outstanding service by Julian, and the atmosphere was full of good vibes. Can't wait to go back.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options on the menu. The chef was able to remove dairy products from my menu selection to fit my preferences.Parking: Down the block from the restaurant, there is a huge parking garage. Plenty of spaces. $12 for 2 hours, on a weekday.Kid-friendliness: We took a group of elementary school children there, and it was perfect. The servers were patient and accommodating. Now, the food orders were huge, so most of the children had to go boxes. We saw other children there with families - babies, toddlers, teens, etc.“
“What a hidden gem! Great diner for breakfast in Royal Oak area. Banana Pecan Waffle was amazing. The candied pecans made a big difference. We also had Corned Beef Hash, pancakes, bacon, plus much more. Portions are huge. You cannot walk away hungry. Hot, fresh coffee, and excellent, friendly service. We can see why the Oak Diner is so poplar. DoorDash delivers! Nostalgic setting, loved the decor. Daily specials and loved the joke of the day board. Counter sitting or dining area. Will be back to try lunch one day.“
“Rose latte and tomato basil soup are *cgef’s kiss* delicious. I recently visited three days in a row because of how yummy the food. It is a tiny restaurant and the prices are in the more expensive side (20% tip is factored in to the prices). There is a good amount of street “
“First time here, my son and I stopped in had a great meal, food was excellent service was great! We really enjoyed ourselves our server Brendi (not sure of spelling Lol) was attentive and professional, will most certainly return and tell others!“
“The real picture was me walking out the door saying, "That was goooood!!!" Seriously, the food and service are outstanding! Chicken wings are off the hook. Everything we tried was good, potatoes, biscuits and yes even the coffee. This is my 2nd vist and definitely not my last.“
“My absolute favorite breakfast place. Great lunch too. The family that runs this place is so kind and loving, I've been coming here with my mother for years. I always get the eggs Benedict for breakfast and my mom always sticks with a good old ham sandwich. Ham is nice and thick cut, super delicious on some thick rye bread! They have an amazing selection to choose from, for breakfast and lunch and I've never tried anything that was bad! The atmosphere is cozy and you get taken care of every time no matter who's serving you. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a new diner.“
“Wow what a great breakfast/brunch spot. Cute and inviting interior with great outdoor patio seating as well. Had the Crabcake Benedict. 2 crab cake patties, poached eggs, roasted potatoes, on a toasted English muffin, hollandaise, chive garnish. The eggs were cooked perfectly and had a delicious hollandaise sauce.“
“Had not been there before. It was a very nice surprise. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. Prices average, food was good. Had a great time seeing family from out state. Definitely will put this one in back pocket in case I get that way again. 30 mile drive for breakfast wish it were closer.Parking: Don't know area that well. Map quest had me turn 25 feet before parking lot had to do a big do over gor it right on second try. But, it may have been my fault if I turned 25 feet before parking lot. But there are three roads that all come out to the one way road I was traveling (Woodward ave.) I found that it is better to go past and loop back than to turn before.“
“Wow! This spot is a fantastic breakfast place! I came in on a Friday morning to meet a friend for breakfast. We both ordered omelettes, hash browns (crispy), toast and coffee and everything was truly delicious. The omelette was impressive. The cheese was so nicely melted and it was very hot and fresh. I enjoyed every single bite of it. I had the custom and I can definitely recommend. Our waitress was prompt, friendly and regularly checked in on us. She kept our coffees hot and fresh. I definitely would recommend stopping in. I'm looking forward to trying more on the menu!“
“.........*drool noises*Yes please. Please let me die, and in my last breath, I'll be taking a bite of a Cheesecake Waffle. I want to be buried slathered in Trashy Hashy. A bouquet of cinnamon rolls adorning my casket. This is my last will and testament. Signed and notarized.“
