About Orchid Theatre

Orchid Theatre is a lively venue that has experienced some changes under new management, including increased drink prices and the removal of back patio seats and the back bar. Despite these adjustments, the drinks remain a highlight, with many guests enjoying the variety and friendly service. The venue has a great atmosphere, making it a cool spot for parties or celebrations, though it may not be ideal for a regular weekend night. Visitors can connect with a mixed crowd in the Ferndale area and enjoy themed events or performances by preferred artists. Recently, guests appreciated a Halloween visit that featured karaoke night with no cover charge, adding to the fun vibe and entertainment. A food truck on the patio offers a variety of food, including vegetarian options, and has received positive feedback, especially for the smoked wings. Parking in the rear requires payment but is free after a certain time, and there is also a nearby parking structure. The venue has a ramp on the patio for wheelchair accessibility. Some reviews mention that drinks can be watered down, indicating a need for better bartenders, but guests still enjoy the overall experience. Many express a desire to return, especially for the food truck offerings and friendly staff, including the welcoming bartenders.
