I had my calendar marked for the Michael Jackson event and I was so disappointed with the DJ. There were so many moments where the music just stopped without a transition. The MJ songs were cut off before the crowd could sing along or even dance along to popular moments. How do you cut the music before the bridge to ‘Remember the Time’!? Firstly, the bar staff is always on point. They've always been quick and efficient, and the drinks are good (albeit a bit pricey on the themed nights). However, when it isn't a themed ticketed event, Orchid has become a spot for young Gen Z kids to stand around and do nothing. It's a dance club, not a mausoleum. I've been shaking it here for 6 years now, and the scene is just too different these days.
