I first stopped be here when I was visiting MI. It became my regular stop every visit. Now that I live in the Detroit Metro, it has become a staple in my regular dining! The food here is definitely the best. Everything on the menu is perfectly crafted. The staff is highly attentive and add to the dining experience. If you're looking for great Indian cuisine... this is the place!

I loved this place back when it was in Rochester, Michigan and was over the moon to see it still existed, but was now in Ferndale.

Their curry was nostalgic and some of my favorite in lower Michigan. They still had mango lassi and multiple varieties of naan bread. Between the spices and the warmth from the kitchen, it would be a great spot to visit in the autumn and spring when you want to feel that warmth from the inside out.

I finally had the chance to try Star of India, and I’m so glad I did! Everything from the food to the service was outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They were happy to answer our questions and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

The Butter Chicken was easily one of the best I’ve ever had—rich, creamy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced....
