I love being forced to tip after having to source my own silverware for my table. Food was served without utensils. After server said they'd be right back and never showed up, I had to find utensils for my entire table from the server's supply area. No word about it from my server. If I'm paying you, some accountability would be nice.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The food is exemplary every time I've been there, I always dream about the next time I can come eat again. But this review is about the service, which cannot be beat! From the hostess, to our waitress who made sure we were taken care of at every step. Then to the 4 employees who came to our rescue when my car battery died in the parking lot, and they immediately stepped up to help us get on our way quickly with support...

My server, Squid, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I had the Petoskey Omelette along with a peach mimosa. It was fantastic. Whenever I go to Toast, I want to sit in Squid's section. Hats off to Squid!
