“So I got a give some props to the kid that answered the phone when I called about my order it was it. It’s set for you know at least 40-45 minutes or longer. Obviously, they can’t control busy and you know if they’re shorthanded, but they got five stars from me Because the kid that I spoke to about the order. “My husband and I order from this location at least once, if not twice per week. For the most part, everytime we order, a girl name Adriana is working and when she is there, our order is ALWAYS perfect, correct, and hot. The one time our pizza crust was wrong, she corrected it right away, without hesitation. You need more employees like this one, because she cares about your business and her customers. “We had the best time at the Roc this weekend. Best lasagna I’ve had in a long time, we were with a big group and everyone loved their entrees. Tiramisu was perfection, too, and excellent wine selection. Service was so friendly and attentive. Really cozy/intimate vibe. We ordered the 24 inch deep dish square half pepperoni and half all meat and we also ordered the rib tips dinner. It didn’t take very long to pick up, About 20 minutes and they were ready, When I got there, they gave us a Chicken Alfredo pizza to try. All the food was delicious the Crust was thick and crunchy, The pizza was very fresh and the chicken Alfredo pizza was amazing! I shared my rib tips dinner with my family and everybody enjoyed it as well. We will totally be going back for some more delicious pizza soon.“

Tony graciously opened the restaurant early for us from 12–3 PM, even though those are not their normal business hours, so our family could simply be together, share a meal, and spend time reconnecting after a very meaningful day.

“I'd been wanting to try this place for years. A few days ago, that opportunity arose. I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, bacon, onion, mushroom, and green pepper.

I thought it was really good. The toppings were fresh and the crust had kind of a chewy crunch. It was almost a combination of Mickeys pizza in Lincoln Park and Old Franks Pizza in Wyandotte, for those of you that remember.

It took quite a while for it to be delivered. Also, it has taken a while when I've picked up for doordash. They are a busy place though. So I understand.

Overall, this is a nice little local pizza place. I would definitely order from here again.“

Flat Rock has a lot of competetion for awesome pizza, but Papa Brunos is one of the greatest places for pizza on planet EARTH. It's worth the drive from ANYWHERE. For the record, I've been eating the round pizzas at Papa Brunos now for 4+ YEARS because the rounds are seriously dang good too. I tried the deep dish for the first time last month, and I couldn't believe what I had been missing!
I used to get deep dish from the corporate franchise place next to the old Butcher Shop. There's nothing wrong with those guys; but Papa Brunos is just WAY, WAY BETTER. It's totally different- most notably the crust- and Papa Brunos crust is SO GOOD. I'll upload a photo of my next one because we already devoured the pizzas we just ordered.“

“This place is amazing with delicious food & drinks, fair prices, and the environment is as welcoming, professional, and friendly as any dive bar can get. No complaints there.

However, I unfortunately have to take 1 star away for the long wait times on the food...at least for now until that's improved upon in the future. That's where API really falls short in my opinion, especially when ordering takeout. This is never a problem with drinks or the bar experience, which is where this place truly shines and what keeps me coming back as a regular, since I can at least enjoy a couple beers, shots, or cocktails while waiting to eat; and they got Faygo for you if it's not your drinking day. But it does not take too long to be acknowledged by a server.

It's also very loud in there even when it's mildly busy, which can easily cause bigger orders to get skipped over, misheard, or messed up. I can't really hold that against anyone since that is not in anyone's control as far as I know, but just be sure to make your orders loud and clear with the servers.

I could honestly care less about the cash-only restriction I hear about. Even if cards are supported now or eventually, I'd still advise carrying cash as the smart play and the ATM is your friend regardless.“
