The Iron Pig Smokehouse provides a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. There may be some initial confusion with the ordering and seating process, but the hostess and employees are accommodating and attentive. Recent reviews highlight the Brisket Tacos as perfection, featuring pickled onions, arugula, and brisket that isn’t super fatty. The homemade potato chips tossed in ranch dry rub are also noted as awesome.
Some dishes, like the Texas Twinkies, surprised customers with their size, leading to mixed feelings about value for money. While these cream cheese stuffed peppers wrapped in bacon were praised for their taste, some diners felt that the price could be better justified.
Overall, the food shows potential, with dishes like the cowboy bites, brisket nachos, and the Iron Pig Burger receiving positive feedback. The sampler platter is recommended for its reasonable price compared to other options. While there may be some inconsistencies, the Iron Pig Smokehouse is worth another try for its flavorful offerings and generous portions.
