Dive Bars near Grand Haven

“So my buddy and I grabbed lunch at Sporty’s Bar and it was good. Living here for almost 50 years I had not been here before but knowing that Jim is managing/owner now I wanted to try it out. We had burgers, fries, and ice cold beers. Although they can’t cook the burger to order (I like medium rare), the burger was still juicy and not overcooked. Atmosphere was very nice, not what I expected. Cool bar and clean. Bartender was great too and other diners were pleasant.“

“Stan's took me back to my childhood. Love the atmosphere of the place. The craft beers on tap are great. Linda was stellar - she's friendly and never let my glass go dry. I will be back! Returned twice, this time with our son. We really enjoyed our lunch here.“
