Came in around 2pm on Saturday was immediately seated with a family of 5. My wife ordered a margarita and I got a beer. Food was hot and tasted great. The atmosphere reminds you of a European pub. All around great place.
My favorite brewery in Grand Rapids, hands down. Good food with rotating specials, a big focus on community, poems on the menus that change with the season, great staff. And, of course, excellent beer and gorgeous pours off cask. Do you know how hard it is to get and hold on to a Cask Marque certification? You can tell they love what they do here and I love supporting them.
Brass Ring has been one of our favorites for several years. The staff are attentive and hard working, the kitchen/food are at a higher level than most full service restaurants, and the beer is fantastic and true to their mission. It also deserves mention that even the owner can be seen serving food and clearing tables - and when ownership is that involved in daily operations, it bodes well for customers.
