Brass Ring has been one of our favorites for several years. The staff are attentive and hard working, the kitchen/food are at a higher level than most full service restaurants, and the beer is fantastic and true to their mission. It also deserves mention that even the owner can be seen serving food and clearing tables - and when ownership is that involved in daily operations, it bodes well for customers.
This little place is wonderful in every aspect. The interior has a great, homey/antique feel to it, the live celtic-esque music was pleasant, the drinks were cold, perfectly balanced, and came in a large variety. The food menu, while small, has a large range of cuisines, from bangers and mash to gumbo to curry chicken naan burritos. Beer is exceptional. We enjoyed cocktails this trip in, also very good. Delicious food and friendly efficient service. This neighborhood favorite is a shining star as far as breweries go. So much more.
