I eat at this restaurant fairly regularly and have never had a bad experience. The restaurant is small and rather nondescript. I always get the group platter for 2 to 4 people depending on my party size. You can choose between spicy or mild. I have done both and all of the options are always delicious. The family that runs the restaurant is welcoming and warm. The amount of food for your money is quite generous as well.
All of the entrees are incredibly tasty, as is the spiced tea (even on a hot summer day). Portions are reasonable and the group platter price is unbeatable. The lentil, bean, and/or pea entrees are really the stars. Will be coming back here next time we pass through GR!
This is the best ethiopian food i have eaten i have been to the other two in grand rapids. I also been to the two in lansing, one in Indiana and one in ann arbor and this is the best by Far! Their main ingredient MUST Be LOVE! I drive from lansing to go eat here atleast twice a week. Im waiting on them to open now.
