Bravo to the staff at Max's in Grand Rapids! We went last night with 6 people, and were celebrating 2 birthdays. I had not done my research and thought we were in for a 'canned' touristy experience. I was very wrong. We were seated very close to our reserved time (highly recommend making a reservation a few days in advance). You cannot be in the bar area if you aren't 21. We were seated on the second floor, and we requested a table set apart due to hearing...
We had a great time at Max’s celebrating the last day of school! Our server J was so sweet and very attentive. Food was amazing, drinks are super fun and on theme, atmosphere was unique, and the s’mores board was a fun end to the experience. We’ll be back!
This is the second time we have now been to Max's and this is easily one of the best places in Grand Rapids to have dinner with some drinks. Their food is exceptional and also offers great vegan options. I have yet to find a menu item that has not exceeded my expectations. Their drinks are a bit pricy, but the quality shows.
