“We were going to be seated in the middle of the room, so we asked to sit somewhere that was not in the middle of the room. So we went to a different section & had been seated in the middle of the room, despite it not being busy. Might sound petty, but you would think they would have seated us along the side. So many open tables on by the windows. Service was good. Food was excellent.“

“Absolutely delicious! We stopped in on a Tuesday for dinner and were greeted with great service. We got the catfish, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, and mac and it was all amazing! I haven’t found anything so close to family cooking in a restaurant before. We both left clean plates. Will definitely be returning!“

“This place has excellent service and down home cooking. The Soulfood wrap with extra yams is top notch, so much flavor. The meatloaf tastes like your mom made it, tender and saucy. I like it and the pork chop smothered in gravy, but you can get it without. The collards are exceptional. The corn bread is soft with a slight crust and just a little sweet. And the banana pudding is so luxurious and just the right amount of sweetness.“

“The mixed drinks are out of this world! They're not too sweet, and not too boozy, the perfect balance. The food was pretty good, definitely worth coming back for. The food was not brought out at the same time. The first guest was finished eating before the last even got their order.

My biggest complaint probably isn't the restaurant's fault. You order through the website. Their payment provider would not accept either of my cards. Luckily my partner's Apple Pay worked. This would have been very embarrassing in other situations. The cell service is sketchy (not their fault), but the guest wifi password at the table is not correct (their fault). Since internet connectivity is required to order, make sure your guests can access it.

Overall we had a good experience. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We will be back.“

“CLK overall was an amazing environment and very family oriented. I would like to give a huge shout out to the manager from last night, I came in believing I had a reservations because I was celebrating my bday but also doing a gender reveal that was done Feb 13th for March 1st but it wasn’t in there system. Instead of turning me around her and some of staff maneuvered and make things work in my favor. The server we had started out great but then became a little rude and I don’t know if it was because of my party downsizing or what but the attitude changed. She started reaching over ppl not saying excuse me so I became a little irritated on my special day. I really wanted to experience more of the food but the way things went it just changed the whole energy for me. But everything wasn’t bad and like I said I truly appreciate the amazing manager from last night and I was told that the bartender that made the drinks was superb!!!! Thank you“
