About Tacos Yanga

Tacos Yanga offers a delightful selection of Mexican dishes, including tacos, burritos, wet burritos, tortas, sopes, gorditas, and quesadillas. The place feels like home-cooked meals and is considered one of the best taco spots in town. The Al pastor has great flavor, but some may not like the pineapple. Asada is always good, with slightly dry tortillas. The variety of tacos includes Nopales and chicharrones, with spicy green salsa.

The food is described as delicious, with the steak tacos and steak burrito being particularly flavorful and fulfilling. Customers appreciate the attention to detail, as the restaurant provides onions, limes, and other tasty sides to enhance the tacos.

The service is commendable, with bilingual staff who are eager to assist customers with the menu and ensure orders are taken swiftly. The food arrives quickly and hot, which adds to the overall positive experience.

While the atmosphere is satisfactory, with cultural decor and phrases that bring a touch of Mexico to the dining experience, it doesn't quite elevate the overall experience.

Vegetarian options are available, and the restaurant is very kid-friendly. The parking lot is free and spacious, and the restaurant has kind of good spacing for wheelchair accessibility, though it is a small establishment.

I have been going here for a couple of years within the past few months ,the food has gotten terrible
The tacos have absolutely no flavor, the cilantro and onions are very little , the sauteed onions are burnt most times and the flour tortillas are horrible. The new cooks or management has definitely dropped the ball.

They served this at Family Reading night at North Godwin tonight and it was delicious. I had a chicken taco and a pork taco. The meat was full of flavor and they had all the toppings.

I went with a friend of mine, he suggested it, I’ve lived in Grand Rapids my entire life. I’ve eaten just about everywhere, hands down, the best authentic tacos/burritos etc in GR imo. The price is crazy crazy cheap, quick hot food. Can sit outside under shaded canopy, or small cozy inside seating.
