I got the Asheville Hot Fried Chicken & Ranch melt half sandwich lunch combo with brussel sprouts to go. The sandwich was very good! But the brussel sprouts were soo sad. They were burnt and almost only loose leaves vs whole brussel sprouts. Just kind of a bummer, especially for the money. Hopefully they’ll be better next time.

Had a great experience at Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a stylish space that felt comfortable and lively. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the visit. The food was flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared, with great Southern comfort food options. Nice spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner in downtown Grand Rapids. Definitely worth visiting again.

Nice downtown location. I had the fried chicken and I found their least spicy breading to still have a good deal of kick. If you don't like spicy food I would not recommend this place, at least not the fried chicken which they're known for. My wife had the chicken tenders with the same breading and she also found it too spicy. I generally don't mind a little bit of kick, I just was not overly enamored with how they did it.
