All of the food was bursting with flavour! My meal, the chicken shawarma, was delicious and very filling. My boyfriend ordered the fried salmon, he said it tasted delicious BUT everything was drowning in olive oil. Like, 3/4 of the bowl was filled with olive oil (so the rice got soggy w/ oil). He ate it all because it was tasty, but didn’t feel well after. I’m sure this issue was a one-off thing. We would love to come back on an empty stomach to try the desserts!
The food here is why you should visit. Everything was delicious. I would return just because of the food. The service on the other hand, is very slow and unattentive. We almost wanted to serve ourselves in the kitchen. The atmosphere is historic, but kinda cold and boring. I would return for the food, and hope for better service.
