“Updated Review 4/13/24: Still delicious! I got the umami slam Sammy and for dessert I got the blueberry lemon crepe.Came here after the auto show for dinner. I like the interior, with the cool hanging lights and plants. Service is great, our waitress was really cool and checked on us frequently. She was a fun waitress too, not one who just takes the plates and doesn't talk.We started with an appetizer, Okonomiyaki. Beautiful presentation, it reminded me of a beautiful crepe. It wasn't everyone's favorite, but I really liked it. Good texture and packed with flavor.My main course was the Kati Roll. The texture of the bread was lovely, it was crispy and soft at the same time. The lamb was delicious and perfectly seasoned, and had one thing on the roll that I didn't think would work with lamb, but it did: Avocado.My dessert was the mango sticky rice. Oh my goodness that coconut cream is magical! Definitely one of the best desserts I've had in awhile!“
“I can’t go to GR without a quick stop to Char! Seriously, if you haven’t eaten here, you should question your life choices! Original and delicious food and drink selections, not to mention BAKLAVA. Service is awesome, and food is fast and amazing. Run, don’t walk to get you some loaded won ton nachos!“
“Over good experience. This is my personal opinion. Not bashing this establishment. We ordered 4 rolls, and they were good and tastie, but a lot going on within the rolls with all the flavors they were trying to incorporate into one roll. Little over powering flavor combating each other. Their Carb Rangoon Dip is absolutely amazing and a must order for an appetizer. Onlrly problem no pop/soda from Coke Cola or Pepsi Products, a little weird. Those are the reasons I gave the food a 4 star. Our server was amazing and spot on with our questions and kept my water filled. The atmosphere was nice and clean. im sure during warmer months, the outside sitting is relaxing.“
“Maru is my favorite spot to get sushi here in GR! It is always a treat to dine in or order out. If I'm really hungry I normally order 2 rolls (it's never an issue to have some leftovers for myself..). On a regular day with friends some starters and 1 roll will usually suffice for me! My favorite starters are the fire cracker shrimp and the spicy fried tofu. Also they have great deals throughout the week that I need to capitalize on more often - such as the "Tiger Tuesdays" with $12 Crouching Tiger rolls!!“
“We ordered Red Bowl via Yelp. Not only was the delivery easy and non-invasive - but the food was amazing. We got the Beef and Broccoli with fried rice and and egg roll as well as Chicken Lo Mein, Sesame Chicken, and Crab Ragoon. All of the dishes were well-balanced and freshly made. This is our new favorite spot.“
“We ate just after lunch hour, our server was very attentive, kept our waters full, gave us the sauces we asked for or needed for our egg rolls, and our two entries. Our dishes were excellent in taste, and presentation as well late this summer. We will be back the next time we are on the southwest side of town, which will be on 01/23/2024 for lunch. “I am just passing through the area with my PSD and not only were the staff and owner very welcoming to my friends and I but her as well. A great time was had by all for sure and schatze got spoiled with some extra pieces of steak for dinner. The food was great, the entertaining and interacting way the food is prepared was very enjoyable, he included everyone, adult and child alike in the cooking process. My anxiety was really high when we arrived and within minutes of sitting down the atmosphere was calming enough to where I was able to relax, I left in a different mood then when I went in..I was relaxed, with a smile and FULL, they give you so much food! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Kid-friendliness: The chef which was the owner interacted very much with the what looked like a 5 year old boy across the table, the child had a blast as did everyone. I bet he remembers tonight for the rest of his life. If I had a child I wouldn't hesitate to let them enjoy the unique fun food experience.“
