“It got a better rating because of nostalgia. I loved coming here to meet friends because I lived here. If I could get the pizza everyday that would be nice. ? they can randomly be closed or not serving a dish u had the day before. But I still love coming here. It's a quiet place to hide in a loud world.“

“I would like to offer some encouragement regarding this store. The food has always been great. They are convenient, and have a large menu. To be fair, I do have family members who work there. However. This is a GI community store run by young adults. Many whom are also taking college or training courses while working. Not easy. Some are trying to earn a living while they decide on long term goals. They are learning about customer interface, manufacturing process, inventory management, product quality, conflict resolution and probably more. I suspect they have a capacity issue, due to the pandemic and bridge closure, causing the long wait times, and as I am told some "crazy rushes!" These are all difficult concepts for most seasoned professionals. There is no excuse for poor quality, it should be reported and addressed. HH leadership should take responsibility and resolve it as I see they are doing. I believe this store services the community very well and offers employment and learning opportunity for young adults. “I'm a new customer and I highly recommend this place. It was super easy to call in and place my order. staff is super friendly over the phone and at the drive thru window. I got a 12 piece pan pizza with brradsticks and it was under 30$ which is remarkable considering McDonald's is more expensive and the food here is amazing. Must have been made by 2 different people. I would have sworn they came from 2 different places. One was pretty good, crust was well formed and toppings fresh and evenly distributed.

The other may as well been a Rotten and Ready. Sparse toppings, flat crust like a frozen pizza and virtually no sauce.“

The young man who manages this place offered me free pop, so I tried to leave a tip. In the most humble and polite way possible he refused my tip and thanked me graciously for my business and wished my family a Merry Christmas. “Nice pizza, one of the best I've had since moving Downriver. We love a square pizza do this place delivered. Had the Meatza, very good combi of meats.

Parking: Came into the parking lot the back way, from behind the gas station, so never had to go out onto Allen Road which was very handy coming from the neighborhood.“

“I have been coming to this pizzeria for the last ten years and maybe a handful of times have I ever had a problem with delivery times or order accuracy, and when those issues happened they were swiftly corrected or compensated for and the flavors were still very good, as they always are. Occasionally you may get a slightly floppy crust near the center, but not raw or undercooked by any means. In fact, the crust is consistently one of the best you will ever eat.

Todd the owner is a very friendly guy, does a lot for the community, staffs the kitchen with a good number of local high school students, giving them work experience before going out into the big wide world, and if you go in to pick up orders just a few times, he learns your name by then and will start calling you by name every time he sees you walk in the door.

“Wanted to try a new pizza place for the family tonight and after a google search, found Mickeys Pizza. Made a call to see if the did delivery because well, after painting all day; I wasn’t driving anywhere. Had the pleasure of speaking with Damien I believe. Absolute gent! Answered all my questions and got me squared away to enjoy a night of not cooking, and self indulging in some awesome downriver pizza. I don’t have the pizza in front of me quite yet as I just placed this order. But due to the impeccable customer service I received from Damien, I felt just in coming to write a positive review just based off my experience with him alone. I look forward to this pizza set to arrive at my home in the next half hour, with my 6 sides of ranch and 2 sides of garlic butter.

“I was a little skeptical about this place as it's a fairly small building that you can miss from the road. I gave it a shot and ordered a pepperoni pizza with a side of fries. The fries were baked in the oven instead of fried, so they were a bit burnt and not well seasoned. The pizza, however, was delicious. Everything had good flavor, the crust, sauce a d pepperoni. I know some places charge for ranch, so it didn't surprise me, but I don't like the extra charges for condiments. Overall, the pizza was delicious, but definitely avoid the fries.“
