Before we moved here we would go to our regular Thai spots . Not until we moved to Grosse Pointe did we know what really “Great “ Thai food was all about. “I’m going to call this a hidden gem because “The Hill” is kind of a sleepy business district if I’m being honest. Cafe Nini is also on the opposite side of the street from the majority of the restaurants The Hill has to offer.

Make no mistake, this cozy little Italian restaurant is one of the better restaurants on The Hill. The wife and I went for our regular date night and were definitely not let down.

I had the fruitti di mare and the wife had fettuccini alla carbonara. Both were excellent. Can’t wait to go back and try something different.

We also ordered the Vegan Stuffed Pepper, but we will have to try it tomorrow for lunch...too full from the Detroit Stuffed Pepper! We also tried the lentil bean soup, very nice. And my wife enjoyed the Mango Tastic smoothie:-) We're happy to learn about the Detroit Pepper Company, and we'll be back. Highly recommended. i tried the chicken fajita bowl. super reasonably priced for the portion you get. it’s fresh and amazing, very filling too.

“We had dinner at Kona last night in Tecumseh on the rooftop. We had a fantastic meal and the service was great, considering there was only one wait staff up there. He did a wonderful job. My only complaint would be the seating. They are funky looking chairs, but they’re SOOOO uncomfortable. I’m 5’6 and the seat was way too deep!! Forces you to sit perched forward, which is really uncomfortable. And the seats are so hard I actually had a very sore tailbone. Other than that it was GREAT!!!!”

“I’ve passed this place several times and finally had a chance to try it today. Some of the best chicken wings I’ve ever had in my life. Cooked fresh to order and they did not disappoint! “I recently tried Rollzz Ice Cream in Windsor and really enjoyed it! I ordered the Neutula Crunch and Kinder Bueno rolls — both were delicious. The ice cream was creamy, full of flavor, and had a great mix of textures. The staff were friendly and made the rolls right in front of me, which was fun to watch. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving something sweet!”

“I just found this place and month ago and I've been back 3 times. Asian Tacos app and the quesadiila burger everytime. My wife got the Roast beef sandwich tonight and I had a bite, it was really good too. they're working on a new menu that I can't wait to try more of their food. Basam and Stacy have been great everytime I've been there too.”
