Before we moved here we would go to our regular Thai spots . Not until we moved to Grosse Pointe did we know what really “Great “ Thai food was all about. “First time for breakfast and we absolutely loved it. Those blueberry lemon pancakes-OMG Amazing!! Great coffee-we actually bought a bag and use at home in the morning. Farmer’s omelette was also excellent!!”

“Very intimate. Very small. Quaint. Luckily it was not filled to capacity, as my chair was in aisle and tables are very close together. Draft from outdoors was very cold & brisket.
The bread basket was nice, good crust & tasty interior. The salad & blue cheese crumbles was fresh & good portion. Dressing was a bit sweet, my fault for not asking on the side. Gnocchi was a generous portion. & magnificent; light, & fluffy They made it Florentine for me; delicious. My friend's portion of piccata was nice, broccoli nicely steamed, no fluff. Potatoes looked nice and a bit textured, I didn't not taste. Other tables portions looked generous also. Tiramisu for dessert. Most memorable? The gnocci! Might be the best I've ever eaten. Lovely spot & impressive.”

“New Chef Dylan is brilliant! This is not your old lackluster Bronze Door. We have dined at all of the incarnations of this restaurant going back to the original Bronze Door in the 70s - today’s dinner was by far the best meal we have ever had there! The new menu is imaginative without being gimmicky and the execution was superb! We almost did not eat there tonight based on previous experiences but they are close to home and we wanted to dine early. So glad we did! Every dish we had was superb! So happy to know that the Bronze Door finally has a chef and menu that it deserves.”

“The new Wendy that just reopened was amazing. I ordered the Dave’s double bacon cheese and it was the best I have ever had in my life. I never knew a Wendy’s burger could taste this good. Why don’t other Wendy’s burgers taste this good and fresh? Like what’s happening???? I’m confused. How was it that good!!!!??? I hope the quality stays like this forever. I made it home and it was still steaming hot. Crazzzzy!!!”

“If you're looking for a culinary adventure, try Saffron De Twah, a Morcoccoan restaurant on the east side of Detroit. The food is amazing--the chicken sandwich is the best you'll ever have in your lifetime. Don't leave without trying the tea. What a presentation! Even more wonderful than the food is Chef/Owner Omar's hospitality & generousity!!! One of his core values is giving back to the commuity through the Saffron Community Kitchen and his YouTube presentations. Did I mention he is a James Beard finalist? I will return again & again. “We tried the Detroit Pepper Company tonight, first time! We went with the Detroit Stuffed Pepper, beef with parmesan cheese. Very good taste, and huge. We also ordered the Vegan Stuffed Pepper, but we will have to try it tomorrow for lunch...too full from the Detroit Stuffed Pepper! We also tried the lentil bean soup, very nice. And my wife enjoyed the Mango Tastic smoothie:-) We're happy to learn about the Detroit Pepper Company, and we'll be back. Highly recommended. “We've always had a great time here , service and food always amazing , I'm sure things were off this day we went . Our server was barely at our table and rushed off anytime we asked for something without asking the whole table . Food was good but some of the pastas lacked sauce . They had to give half off one of my friends meals. But will always come back :)”

“Enthusiasms and labors of love do not always, alas, translate to success. Fortunately, in the case of Sameday, it does! There are no bad beers here. There aren't even any mediocre, fill-in-the-menu beers. I'm not a big lagers fan, but the Someday lagers are well worth the pint, as are the Czech style pilsner. And then there are the IPA's, which are fantastic; and the stouts, a pleasant oatmeal stout or a no holds barred Midnight. The meads are just as excellent. (Except for the Sunday Afternoon, which you don't want to try, because that will leave more for me. Seriously. Try the April First.) No food. No distractions. Just beer (and mead) done very excellently well.”

“My friend and I had lunch at Coriander Kitchen and Farm yesterday 6/23. We came back because we enjoyed our first visit last year so much! However, at this visit the food was not so good. I ordered fish and chips and my fish was overcooked and the french fries were not hot. My friend ordered smelt which were awful and greasy which we sent back. We asked for lemon which never came to the table and our waiter seem to be the only one there and they were busy so I don't think we got the attention that we were due. I know this establishment can do better, so I will be going back. But yesterday's service and food were awful.”
