Everyone loves to hate The Hill. BUT, it is a top-shelf Grosse Pointe restaurant. My friend from Birmingham drives over often, and considers it the best restaurant in Detroit. He is wrong, but I've always enjoyed a meal at The Hill. It is straightforward steak and seafood restaurant, with white tablecloth service. The booths are roomy and luxurious and the table setting is classic. Outdoor seating is especially pleasant in the summer.
This place is absolutely one of the finest place to eat in the region. Always when I come to this place I am incredibly pleased. They preserve their high standard service and the topmost level of dishes they give. You are always happy with this restaurant. Highly recommended.

I love LOVE love the hospitality and the ambience of The Hill. I understand it was bought out by Andiamo, another one of my faves; combine the best of both worlds and maintain that Grosse Pointy vibe we all know and love! Our dinner was fabulous this evening! Chrissy is always a pleasure!
