“Kept driving by and always wanted to try it....so I did. I ordered a large coffee with cream and sugar, and a half dozen box of mixed donuts that included Birthday Cake, Cherry Almond, Blueberry, Brown Butter, Vanilla Bean, and Raspberry with Sprinkles. OhhhhMyyyyyGoooooodness......best donuts just about that I've ever had. 1000x better than chain or grocery store donuts 🤤 Soooo much flavor 👌🏻 I ordered off a delivery app, so not sure about store cleanliness or friendliness but they were accurate and fast! Definitely will order from here again, and try a different variety 😋“

“Stopped at their set up in Bowling Green Ohio at the Thayer car dealership. Donuts were a little under cooked for my liking but my son said they were delicious. I ordered 1 bag of powdered. The lady looked irritated that I was ordering. Tossed my order up on the counter and went on with the conversation I had interrupted. She put 1 scoop of powdered sugar on top of the donuts and called it a day Untimely leaving us with 3 powdered donuts and the rest plain. I think a little more effort in creating the dish and interacting with customers could make this truck a very popular snack spot!“

“I was excited to hear that Dutch Girl Donuts was reopening, as many of my customers have the fondest memories of them, so I bought two dozen to bring to a customer on Thursday morning, and it was like it was Christmas morning, and Santa had brought all the favorite presents. What impressed me as much or more than the donuts were the stories shared with me about family memories of walking to Dutch Girl Donuts for a Saturday morning treat. This morning, I wore my Dutch Girl Donuts shirt that I bought yesterday, and people have stopped me to talk about the donuts and how excited they are. One person who hadn’t had one in years reminisced about the blueberry, and when I shared they are using the original recipes, he added Dutch Girl Donuts to his weekend plans. “Pizza Rolls truly a Detroit thing invented for the Auto Worker's, that's a story for another day I know the history. Many don't know Jack's started in Taylor before moving to Melvindale. So 44 Year's going strong since 1978 a true Downriver Classic.
Nestled in a small building with a green awning on Allen Rd. is a family-run bakery with a passionate following. It's called Jack's Italian Bakery, now operation run by Jack's son doing a great job. Always a group of Friendly helpful ladies and super great prices. The Pepperoni Roll with Cheese my Addiction that you must try one, they warm it for you. Just one is a full delicious meal for me it's huge. So get this a Roll, Big 24 oz Pepsi n Walnut Dessert Bar only $ 9.75 out the door OMG. Cheaper than a fast food combo and the Pepperoni is heavily packed inside with Cheese. Sure everyone has a favorite spot, been to them all. “First time at this location,I would usually go to the location on Gratiot but they're horrible. I always order a caramel ice capp and it was made perfectly, the gentleman was very nice and professional, service was quick. I will spend my money with this store instead of the other store.“

“Wonderful baked goods and kind staff! Everything is extremely well made and the variety is excellent. The store is clean and well laid out. The inventory is large so you don't have to worry about them running out of donuts by 7:00 in the morning. They also open good and early like a proper donut shop. the donuts are fantastic and flavorful and really well made. The variety of flavors is impressive and delightful. One of our favorite stops in Detroit.“
