“I had a very pleasant experience there this morning. I was unsure of what dozen donuts I wanted and asked if they would just pick. The assortment was perfect. Everyone should come here.“

“I ordered a Gingerbread Latte and it was amazing! Coffee was freshly brewed for my drink, and they kindly asked me if I wanted to add cold foam, and dusted some garnish on top of it. They also have a seasonal menu that makes me really want to go back and try a seasonal drink (I really want to try the Witch's Cauldron!).

I also ordered a double chocolate cake slice for me, and 2 other slices for my family; one cookies and cream, and an extra double chocolate. Was told that the cookies and cream was delicious.

As for my thoughts on the double chocolate cake; I LOVED the cake of the dessert, very moist and soft. There was also a chocolate layer on top of the chocolate buttercream, but the frosting was different than what I'm used to. I wonder if instead they use royal icing? It tasted a bit different from the regular ordinary buttercream that I'm used to, but it wasn't bad by any means, and I still happily ate it!

I tried a bite of the cookies and cream cake, and it was also very tasty. Tasted like the cream of the cookies are mixed into the buttercream. Was a fan of that one and will definitely have to grab one for myself next time!

Overall, great vibes. I loved how the interior was decorated (big fan of the hanging lights) and the people inside were all very kind and were nice when answering any questions.“

“What a little gem! You can tell they are a staple of the community. Not rushed, respectful and busy. Donuts and coffee were delightful and fresh which is understandable given the line that backed up out the door.
We are recent transplants and will be adding this stop to our weekend routine.“

“Stopped at their set up in Bowling Green Ohio at the Thayer car dealership. Donuts were a little under cooked for my liking but my son said they were delicious. I ordered 1 bag of powdered. The lady looked irritated that I was ordering. Tossed my order up on the counter and went on with the conversation I had interrupted. She put 1 scoop of powdered sugar on top of the donuts and called it a day Untimely leaving us with 3 powdered donuts and the rest plain. I think a little more effort in creating the dish and interacting with customers could make this truck a very popular snack spot!“

The man who owns and runs the place is very kind and values his customers, even remembering their orders and thinking of his regulars in getting ingredients that he loves too. Thought goes into the food, and you can tell. A woman there chatted with us and suggested trying the sandwiches, and they were delicious! “I driver by here all the time. Very unassuming spot. They had vegetables, samosas and some chicken legs out when I stopped in. They do have a menu that they will make you items from. I also ordered a salad. There is a dining area. And I did see customers being waited on. But I ordered at the counter and decided to stay. The dining area could use A spiffy up. Everything I ordered was good and extremely budget friendly. They had donuts in baklava that looked so good but...diabetes lol. Nice place for a quick stop If you're familiar with the food. “I was excited to hear that Dutch Girl Donuts was reopening, as many of my customers have the fondest memories of them, so I bought two dozen to bring to a customer on Thursday morning, and it was like it was Christmas morning, and Santa had brought all the favorite presents. “This place is inside the Penobscot Building, through the main entrance and up the stairs. I stopped in here for lunch with some friends one day while attending an event Downtown. I got a BLT, which was excellent. The others who were with me enjoyed their sandwiches as well. Since many of the other lunch places around here are closed, this is a good, well-priced option for a simple lunch.“

“We needed a little sweet treat to eat after our dinner in Ann Arbor. We got a cinnamon roll donut and a French toast donut from here and they were delicious! Both donuts seemed really fresh and soft and their frosting tastes homemade. Thank you for the wonderful sweets!“

“Maybe the best donut I ever had, and it was just a plain glazed doughnut. Like knock you on your behind kind of delicious. And I think what set them apart from other donuts I’ve tried was that they were able to make something so delicious without it being super greasy. They were soft and fluffy, but also jampacked full of flavor.I noticed some reviewers have complained about not having full inventory - but they make a limited number of each, which reduces food waste and I’m sure helps with business costs. I applaud them for electing to run out of something before they decide to either sell old donuts or throw a bunch of food in the trash. When I went, there were a number of flavors sold out, but still a huge number of options. So maybe call ahead if you’re set on a specific donut or be adventurous, maybe be prepared to try different flavors, or plan an early arrival to catch full inventory, but definitely try them! Yum!“

“Where do I even begin? We hired Petite Sweets as our dessert vendor for our wedding at the Roostertail on 9/23/2023. We ordered both our wedding cake and a dessert table from them, and all I can say is WOW. We knew after hiring Chef Denetia that our cake and dessert table would be delicious, but we did not anticipate just how quickly our guests would devour the dessert table! Good thing we had some of our bridal party set aside some dessert for us! XD The cake and desserts were absolutely delicious, and guests just raved about them all night long. There was not a crumb left! One of my guests told me she has been to a lot of weddings, and that it was the best wedding cake she had ever had (we got our wedding cake in the Strawberry Chantilly flavor!) Denetia was so easy to work with. She takes great care during your consultation to understand your wedding vision and make it a reality. She put together our dessert table so beautifully. I can’t recommend Petite Sweets enough - if you don’t hire them, you are truly missing out. They have gained customers for life with my husband and I.“
