We make the drive up to the UP from central Wisconsin at least once a year and a stop at Amy J's is a must. The pasties are great but as a certified cookie connoisseur, the cookies are what I care about.

I have to constantly fight with myself over who is better amy Jay’s, Krupps, or Lawrys. Each one of them make the pasties different but what makes it so awesome for me is biased because I’m literally two blocks away from this little mom and Pop store. The way they shaved the meat and vegetables and the spices they use in that crust. I absolutely love this place and their bakery their cookies. Oh my God slightly pricey but oh my God my only complain about this...
