“I love any niche business that serves authentic Scandinavian goodies! This wonderful bakery does just that! Easy to find and park, we found our way in this week after a local's recommendation. There was an array of fresh baked goods as well as a number of authentic Finnish candy and snacks. There were a number of customers seated inside enjoyjng coffee and baked goods, and a few came for take out. I'll make this a "must stop" for future visits to the Keweenaw for sure!“

“I've lived in a good number of states and been to a few different countries. Milly's makes some of the best food I've ever eaten. I miss them desperately after leaving the U.P. Make sure to stop in for a pizza special while you're in town.“

“I visited when they were still open in 2019. The review may be late, but hopefully still helpful. Is there a Tubie in your family? If so, this review is for you. As much as I like quiche, it's the Walnut burger that I choose time and time again. I'm a health nut. The only place in town that I've visited that can make the kind of food I can eat. I'm a Tubie. All the food I eat must be blended to the consistency of a thin shake. This cafe has a high speed blender to whip that burger into a Walnut stew. I bring my blender bottles in, they fill them up, and I'm good to go.“

“Fantastic every time we go. Even with a dozen parties ahead of us, we were in fast, amazing service, and the food is always spectacular. I highly recommend the Pannukakku, though I’ve never had anything here that was less than terrific. Hands down my favorite breakfast restaurant anywhere.“

“Wandering around the U P as my Son goes to MTU……staying in a campground setting, driving thru calumet on the way to Mohawk and I find this on the map, I ordered an omlette, the miners omlette had pieces of hamburger,sausage and layer of hasnrowns with onions and American cheese and carrots! Yes carrots! The rye swirl toast was homemade and delicious, thick sliced, waitresses were great and food was fast! No complaints here and would definitely stop in again!!“

“Visiting from Duluth, Mn i’m always looking for independent coffee houses. Cyberia Cafe is a charming place where they make their own coffee syrups. The coffee is good, lots of choices for good eats and welcoming warm atmosphere. Greeted right away and taken my order quickly. If you’re in downtown Houghton, make sure you stop here for a good cup of coffee and a relaxing time.“

“Best pasties anywhere! I've been visiting the Keeweenaw every summer for 60 years and sampled lots of pasties. When Connie's opened 35 or 40 years ago, these became our favorite. Jen is doing a great job keeping up the tradition. (And now taking credit cards is a big plus.)“

“Better than Starbucks. This is where you go if you want something just a little more fun. Bragels are honestly some of the best breakfast food I've ever had.Vegetarian options: Most stuff can be vegan friendly, including the vegan bragels (They're so good honestly).Parking: There's probably like 20-25 spots max. Luckily it's usually not that busy but your mileage will vary.“
