“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“Stumbled upon the company at the local farmers market, the staff managing was super nice and helpful when it came to selecting products. Had a great selection of meats & pierogi flavors, picked up the breakfast + buffalo chicken ones to try along with their homemade polish mustard! Will definitely be looking out for their future markets to stock up!“

I wasn’t expecting “chick-fil-a” type service but a smile would’ve been nice. The people behind the counter are the face of your business, they should be nicer. I got bare minimum communication from either of them. The really bad…three bites into my wrap I found a long dark hair attached to my chicken. And I SPECIFICALLY asked the older women taking my order if they grilled the wrap and she told me yes and it wasn’t grilled.“

Everything was hot and fresh and they had such a great variety of fresh food to choose from. They have a mini deli with lots of salads to choose from. They also sell polish sausages, fresh salads, banana pudding, potato wedges and more. Staff was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite to eat on the go.“

No weekend was complete without a visit to Emily's! 40 years later every time I visit from Florida, I visit Emily's to get 3 dozen meat and spinach pies, kibbeh knee and stuffed grape leaves! Emily's never disappoints!“

“The deli is located inside a Shell Gas Station. We just tried the chicken at the suggestion of my brother-in-law and it was simply delicious! We ordered the 8 piece mixed. I only eat white meat. The breast was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and delicious with a classic fried chicken flavor. My husband ate the rest and he loved it too! We also had coleslaw and garlic bread. Both were an a great accompaniment to the chicken. We did not try the potato wedges or the mac and cheese. We also shared a slice of meat pizza on the way home. We enjoyed this too. There was no need for us to call ahead for our family-sized order as the food is ready and waiting in warmers. The gentleman that waited on us was kind and helpful which was a bonus! I can see how people would use the Chicago Deli for their catering needs: great food and wonderful service! We will be back!“
