“I ordered my burger patty "hot off the broiler ". They actually offer this option. They also charge an additional $,60. But you don't get a patty that has been sitting in the heating drawer for who knows how long. I actually enjoyed my Whopper for the first time in years. “I ordered my food through the app in the parking lot , some how it placed the order in clarkston. I went in waiting on my food , the manager asked have I been helped. I stated I ordered online , he said I have no online orders. I showed him my phone he noticed the mistake. The manager gave me what I ordered for free I didn’t get his name , but what a stand up guy . I really appreciated that , this rarely happens in today world . Thanks again.“

Staff is always friendly, and they'll bring your food to you if they're not too busy.Portions are large, so it can be tough to save room for dessert. If you manage (sometimes it's worth just skipping), they have a wide choice of ice cream, shakes, and other frozen delights.Excellent place to bring family and friends on a warm summer day. “Alright, i haven't had a true burger since i became gluten intolerant, but i was in the area, and inquired with The Burger Joint about their gluten free options.Not only do they have decent gluten free buns, they have a dedicated fryer where nothing with gluten is fried in it. “Went to open mic night on a Monday. Liked the atmosphere a lot. Service was excellent!! Waitstaff was kind and friendly and on top of things. Great ambiance. The prices for a Monday and no happy hour on a Monday was a bit off putting. On average beers were $8 (basic beer). White claws $6.50. Sliders $2 each. Chips and salsa $4. I thought the food was good and decent prices but beers were pretty pricey.“

“It’s a good spot that I’ve been going to for a long time. Last night was my first disappointing night. I got there at 9:30 so they had a ‘late night’ menu. Their menu becomes greatly reduced. I can understand it if cooks and kitchen staff are being sent home, but, you can’t even get French fries. I thought maybe they had shut down the fryer. But, they had wings and fried pickles. I asked about fries and the bartender told me it wasn’t possible because the prices changed and I could only get what’s on that limited menu. It was a drag. I can understand cutting some of the more difficult to make foods, like wraps, sandwiches, and salads, but not being able to get fries, is odd. Also, they didn’t have Labatt on draft. They’ve had it every time I’ve been there for the last 10 years. Last night, no dice.“

“Let me start off by saying I can't stand chain restaurants but had a family birthday and had to go and they knocked it out of the park. Kids meals are great here and the steak was really good, did not taste like you typical chain. We had a party of 10 and the wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. Also, the online check in for a table is awesome, if you live a little ways a way you can check in before you leave and can cut down on the wait for a table“

“The original Lefty's cheesesteak and the bbq brisket hoagie are our favorite sandwiches. The bbq brisket fries are just as amazing. We've tried almost all the sides, the sliders, the wings and a couple cheesecakes. We still have many sandwiches to try, including the corned beef. We are so happy to have you in Walled Lake, especially because you stay open later than most places. Great team and great food!“
“The best Dairy Queen in town. The prices at 50% less than the one by the high school and the staff is amazingly friendly and patient. They listened to a Four year old order and were so attentive and when she couldn’t eat it because it had chocolate in it and she can’t eat chocolate they re made it. My only issue is that the employees are so young and some of them don't seem to know how to talk to customers. Also the building is very small and it gets packed very very fast. “There was one very hard working, polite, conscientious young man working at 4:30 pm on a beautiful, sunny Sunday. He was working the counter, the drive thru, taking Door Dash and phone orders. It was busy, and he was doing a phenomenal job, but it was simply way too much work for one person, no matter how efficient he was. We waited 1/2 hour to get served. Many people left. We probably would have if we hadn't promised our grandchildren ice cream. The owners are lucky he did not lock up and walk out.“
