“Last week my husband retired after 22 years of military service. His mother who lives in another state ordered an ice cream cake for him (they are one of his favorite desserts) for our small retirement celebration. She texted me when it was ready for pickup. I arrived to pick it up only to find out Brighton didn't have any cake under my name. I called her to find out what was happening, and it turned out she had ordered it from the wrong Dairy Queen. She ordered it at one in Wisconsin! The staff in Brighton came to the rescue, found and decorated a cake for my husband, and then wouldn't even let me pay for it! Their generosity meant my husband got his ice cream cake and we were cared for at an important moment in our lives. Thanks for your support of service members and veterans!“
“It’s a good spot that I’ve been going to for a long time. Last night was my first disappointing night. I got there at 9:30 so they had a ‘late night’ menu. Their menu becomes greatly reduced. I can understand it if cooks and kitchen staff are being sent home, but, you can’t even get French fries. I thought maybe they had shut down the fryer. But, they had wings and fried pickles. I asked about fries and the bartender told me it wasn’t possible because the prices changed and I could only get what’s on that limited menu. It was a drag. I can understand cutting some of the more difficult to make foods, like wraps, sandwiches, and salads, but not being able to get fries, is odd. Also, they didn’t have Labatt on draft. They’ve had it every time I’ve been there for the last 10 years. Last night, no dice.“
“Let me start off by saying I can't stand chain restaurants but had a family birthday and had to go and they knocked it out of the park. Kids meals are great here and the steak was really good, did not taste like you typical chain. We had a party of 10 and the wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. Also, the online check in for a table is awesome, if you live a little ways a way you can check in before you leave and can cut down on the wait for a table“
“Stopped by on a slow Tuesday night to grab a few sliders. Brain behind the bar was friendly and attentive, burgers were great. Nice beer selction on tap. New establishment, but felt more like a neighbor bar. Will be back.Wheelchair accessibility: Direct access from wide sidewalk.“
“We are season pass holders and snowboard a lot at MT B but we do love the grill. The atmosphere is pretty great and you get an up north feel. Sitting by the fire having hot chocolate or a beer with friends it's always a good time. When you can't make it out west or up north this will help you enjoy winter in Michigan a little bit more.“
“A great place for celiacs. They are very aware of the gluten free protocol for health standards. Haven't had a reaction yet! Now, not a reflection on the restaurant, but the people driving through the parking lot to go to this establishment were just rude. No manners, no waiting to let people out for parking, blowing horn at others like they are late for surgery...so if you get a humanity scale on here...points off on my review ?Dietary restrictions: 3 regular family orders, chicken, fries, onion rings and burgers...all great. 2 celiac safe burgers and buns and broccoli as a side...also great! No reaction!“
“My favorite burger joint hands down! Easily seen from Grand River in Brighton, lots of parking with a busy, well lit lot. Food is hot, fresh and well prepared with very VERY generous portions of fries. A little pricey but worth every penny. Staff is friendly and quick.“
“They were dead, and they had plenty of seating. Food was fresh, their pancakes are a lot better than the last time I went to an iHOP. Grateful we came in today. Fiance had a birthday yesterday and we were gonna try to make it in yesterday, but we were too busy. He ended up getting a free Carmel Sundae.Parking: They were dead, plenty of parking“
“Yes! I met Craig down in islamorada Florida. He is friends with Randy and Marge from same town. Great people and would definitely call them my friends! Ps, I won 20$ last Sunday on the bears lions game and I bought shots.Dietary restrictions: I usually just drink them out of sambuca“
“I love the burgers here. They also do a great happy hour between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. where you can get appetizers for $6 and great discounts on drinks. I love the bottomless sides that you get with your burger - you don't have to get fries, you can get salad for example. It's always clean here and the staff is always friendly. Plenty of parking.Parking: There are 122 spots here. Probably.“
“Stopped on a whim going back to Grand Rapids and what a nice surprise.Forst impression was sour as we were there 10 minutes before opening. Hostesswas young and did not know how to react. A smile goes a long way!Manager/owner was on it though. We sat at the bar and something as simple as my hamburger was spot on. From the bun that stayed intact to the kindly sliced red onion and a perfect looking burger. Taste spot on. NOT an over built burger for show just perfect. My wife had Thai peanut sauce infused wrap that was superb.Wrap of Khan.Audrey was spot on as a server as well. Not many places I would go back to that far from home but will make it a point to on my next Journey to Detroit to stop.Dining is about the food and the experience and they were spot on.Super cute and super clean.Nice to visit a place where the owner has not gotten complacent. Thanks!!!!“
