If you’re in the Houghton area, you need to stop by here. Our server/bartender yesterday was great(wanted to give him a shoutout but can’t remember the name, he had longer hair and was very personable!) I had the grilled cheese with bacon jam, I don’t usually eat meat but the bacon jam was DELISH. My boyfriend had a great smash burger. 11/10 we will be returning.
I travel alone as a woman, A LOT. this is one of those bars you walk in to and it immediately feels comfortable, like you been there before. the bartender was timely, friendly and relatable without being pushy. after a few rounds, I asked enough questions to find out he was the owner. he never forced that, never mentioned it, he was just there being a great bartender until I dug deeper. the owner has a humbleness that you want to support. this is the best bar in Houghton and I'll...
One of the best nights out I’ve had in 5ever, I loveeeeed The Dog! Cash only is fun and old school, and the drinks were strong and tasty. Friendly service, good music, better vibes. Haha I couldn’t say enough good things
