Extremely busy little restaurant. Obviously a local favorite. You must try the pasties ( pronounced with a short a, not long a sound). The waitress was very efficient and friendly. The cashier was pleasant to talk to and learn about some of the towns activities.

Great breakfast is deceptively not easy and this place makes great breakfast beyond the Finnish experience. My daughter wants to come back just for their pancakes.

Phenomenal breakfast with very good prices. Good (strong) coffee. We tried the Pannukakku.. it was so good. I forgot to take any photos though :(

Staff was great. The food was good. The Finnish pancake was both interesting and delicious. Highly recommend. The standard breakfast fare was only okay but that doesn't seem to be the reason you stop by.

Great food experience. Quite popular so there may be a wait time but you'll find it's worth it. Two-hour free street parking but there are limitations. Try Pasties and other Finnish recipes. Well priced with significant portions. This shop focuses on breakfast served all the time and lunch.
Children will find something to munch on. The crowd turns over fairly quickly. The restrooms have an older decor but clean.
The wait staff was helpful explaining the dishes since this was our first time sampling the goodies.

Would put zero stars but can't went there today and sat there for 25 minutes before they even remembered that we were waiting to order

Came here for breakfast, was seated promptly. The staff seems more concerned about making sure tourists are happy while in here. The large group of tourists got prompt service and got their food quickly. After we were seated, 4 other groups came in, ordered, and got their food before a waitress noticed that we still had menus on our table and they didn’t even notice that one of our group had left. From the time we sat down to the time we had our order taken, 30 minutes had gone by. Attempts to draw the attention of a waitress didn’t work. Once the food was cooked, it sat in the window for 5 minutes before it was brought out. The French toast looked like it had been conceptually dipped in the egg bath, but the execution wasn’t there. The hashbrowns were cold, and they forgot to include parts of the order until it was brought up. The other person I was here with had his order butchered as well. Very disappointing experience.

I love this place. Great small town diner with trsditional Finnish dishes and American staples. Known for its breakfast. Highly recommend the Panukaku with Nisu toast.
