“I went to this place for the first time and fell in love with it, it's a small bar with a big big personality. The owner is amazing, his staff is amazing, the food is way way over the top (amazing) compared to other food places especially other bars, the people running the karaoke on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights are amazing and have great current hits. About the only thing that I can say bad is the bathroom hot water is very hot. “Best pizza I’ve had in the Ionia area so far. Next time I’ll ask for more sauce , but I know I am not typical in that. I also love eggplant on pizza, so I’m always looking for someplace to do that. Pizza also passed the test of being good the next day. The proprietor is friendly and the cheese is real. Old town photos on the walls are a plus.”

“I have passed by this place a hundred times, but always after it was regular business hours and closed! I lucked out on this particular trip, but made it right at closing time! While there were virtually only a few cookies left the owner said she had some baked cinnamon rolls in the freezer. I got a couple of cookies that were good, but the cinnamon rolls were unbelievably delicious for breakfast the next day! Maybe the best I've had since I sold my own bakery in 1976! Do stop in if you are in the area... If you don't see what you want, ask if they have any of the cinnamon rolls in the freezer! You'll thank me if you do! ?”

“The best thing about this place is the service. Our waitress was great! The place itself is a home town local place. So could use updating but it's clean and warm. The food it's hit or miss. I got the dinner buffet and some things were great like the chicken. Others were not. Best part about the food as it's atleast home in house it doesn't taste like freezer food.”

“I ordered a delivery and it took over an hour to get to my house (honestly I ordered from the wrong location as I live in St. John’s). When I called the store to see what was going on with the order they explained the issues they were having with DoorDash. The people I spoke with were kind and very understanding and they ended up remaking the sandwich as it was sitting for a bit. They don’t get paid enough to care and I appreciate the service they provided. Too many times we see people get angry and upset when something like this happens, with it being no fault of the employees.”
