The 3 star rating was based on the fact that I felt like I was dining in a fish bowl. I'd appreciate the windows being covered with something that provides more of a restaurant atmosphere. I'd rather not sèe people rambling about the property.“

“The food was great and the service was great too. We were all a little bit disappointed at the changes made for the Valentine's Day special this year. There are no candles or table decorations. There is no balloons or candy on the table. There were no desserts served this year. the two people taking orders and providing service did an excellent job.“

“My server, Jamey, was very friendly and accommodating. She went out of her way to fulfill my requests. The food was fresh and delicious. Although the music was too loud and annoying to me, the hostess was able to seat me in a quieter area even though she had to clean the table for me. “Almost a 5. Staff was friendly, but they overcooked the chicken a little bit. We kept checking to see if was ready, but they kept cooking it and sure enough it was little over cooked, a little dry. It wasn't horrible. So I'm giving it a try again and will see if it doesn't come out so dry the next time around. It's better than the one by 275 at Shell gas station and much cleaner. I'll never go back to the one by Shell gas on Eureka and 275.Edited: I went again and this time the shrimp was overcooked. The tenders were excellent, tender and juicy. But I like shrimp and was sorely disappointed with the shrimp it was dark and they didn't have any honey butter sauce. The best one I've been to was in Hillsdale Michigan, which was my first taste of the place. So all other locations now compare to that one, and unfortunately this one at Star liquor had subpar shrimp. I reduce my rating to a 3.5.“

“We ate here for lunch on June 15 on the way back to IL. The young african american woman working the register was really nice and smiling and explained the menu well. We dined in and asked here if my son can eat his coney dogs that we bought from Leo's Coney Island a little north of Lefty's and she said of course which was great. My wife and I and daugther shared two cheeseteaks and loved them. Definitely would stop here again.“
