“First I would like to say the food was freshly prepared in front of us & we had a bit of a wait, but for fresh food I will not complain about waiting!This was my first time here, the food looks nothing like the pictures, however it was very tasty, I was pleasantly surprised!The chicken is juicy, possibly the juiciest chicken I’ve had considering all of the chicken places on every corner & the asked if I wanted lemon pepper in my chicken too(yesss!!) the original sauce really brings out the Cajun flavors in the chicken and they compliment each other perfectly.The honey biscuits were sitting under the lamp for a while and not dripping in butter like I expected, I would probably ask for extra drizzle next time, but still had a nice crust and fluffy inside.The place is a bit run down, not organized & seemingly unclean, but it’s a gas station too, and that didn’t bother me much since I’ve lived in the area forever. I will definitely return!“

“Was out delivering packages and needed something quick. He made my food super fast and delicious. He even gave me free fries for my first time. You have to try the spicy smash burger with Cajun fries. Hard to find warm customer service like this nowadays. Go in I promise you’ll be treated right!“

I had the classic burger. It's was a good burger. My husband had the burger with the Doritos. He said he'd definitely order it again.

The 3 star rating was based on the fact that I felt like I was dining in a fish bowl. I'd appreciate the windows being covered with something that provides more of a restaurant atmosphere. I'd rather not sèe people rambling about the property.“

The original burgers were ok, couldn’t find any grilled onions. The brioche buns were not truly brioche. I spent 39 dollars and had to walk back to the counter because they forgot the ranch fries.“

“The vibe of the building is really cool. Welcoming. The staff is all about customer service. From the moment I walked in the door, I was taken care of. I was greeted by two employees and immediately given a menu. I asked the young man (Mo I think was his name) what he recommended and he suggested build a burger. Good choice! I had a classic burger with Cajun fries and a Mt.Dew. The fries were crispy and hot, seasoned to perfection. The burger was hand patted and very tasty. They told me the only use fresh not frozen beef and all ingredients are locally sourced. If I had a compliant at all it would be the door to the restroom. Like many places, it was really heavy and difficult to open. You see, I'm handicapped and in a wheelchair. It was difficult getting in and out of the restroom. But wait... Here comes the staff. They pushed me to my table, offered to move the table in order to make things easier for me, helped me out of the door and into the Uber when I left. I really felt special. Hell, even if the food sucked I'd go back for the service“

“Recently had a birthday party, 70’s style, in Miller’s banquet room. Everyone was great to work with and the food was yummy as ever! Ameria was gracious and accommodating. We were able to get in early to hang disco balls and decorate. The large video screens played music videos from the seventies and tables were lined on two sides to create a dance floor. This is a fantastic room for an intimate party under 50. Everyone loved the burgers and the service was outstanding. We will be back!“

“I was born and raised in Dearborn but moved in 1982. Carter's burgers were always delicious. One of the best , always open. It's 2024 now and I still try make my own burgers the same way. Thanks Carter's hamburgers. You are awesome“

The shish combo was amazing, the beef was very tender and had a lot of flavor, the chicken was also really good. The burger has good flavor and the chicken sandwich. “The food is absolutely delicious. It tastes fresh because IT IS. The service is so friendly and welcoming. I brought Mom here already and I’ll bring my entire family here. Note, there’s a small area to eat inside (2 tables) and there’s 1 table outside. This restaurant is geared more towards to-go orders but I’ve eaten here twice in the past few days and both times I ate onsite. I’ve had the chicken shawarma wrap, tabouli, falafel, hummus, and baklava, and it’s all been perfect. I’m looking forward to trying the steak on a bed of hummus!“

“Just moved to garden city and took the recommendation to give this place a try. I was amazed at the service and the freshness of each meal. The best burger I have ever had hands down. The Cajun waffle fries are not too strong and perfectly crispy. I love that I can see the chefs preparing the food. $10 for an adult meal is a great bargain and cheaper than buying stuff to cook at home. I will definitely be back. By far my favorite food place in garden city so far.“

“I’m sorry but the hype over Raising Canes, you obviously have not tried Savvy sliders Chicken fingers!! I’ve been to Raising Canes in Canton twice and won’t be going back- I gave them two chances and the verdict is in—they are not better than Savvy Sliders chicken fingers—nope!

Edited to say I want to rate them 10 Stars due to Customer service is top notch.. they just went above and beyond my expectations. I can’t tell you why 😀 but just know……they are AWESOMEEEE!“
