“I love the consistency across the board whenever I visit a DQ, I always order a turtle pecan cluster blizzard with extra chocolate plus coconut, have ordered it that way for years. Only once in about 10 years have I ordered & it was over chocolatey, as if I wanted it with chocolate ice cream I would order it that way. I like the vanilla ice cream with just the right amount of chocolate swirled in. This was one of those times however it was not the extra chocolate that caused the problem, the server explained this location does not serve coconut. I was initially dissapointed, but still ordered. It was the first trip of many for a quick spring/summer season. That gave me a different taste it was still very good but missing my "umph" flavor the coconut would have given.“

“I have been going to albasha since way back on Warren way before the remodel and the new sign. Back when Miami subs and Taco Bell were on Schaefer. Always got the same thing. A barbecue crispy chicken sub, add cheese corn black olive and extra mayo. Today I went to the Dearborn heights location after many years of eating all the other foods that have come along and I have to say, It still had the same taste and after all these years still hit the spot. Fresh crispy and on point. The guys got it right tonight. I see a lot of people complain in the comments, ignore the noise and try it for yourself. This place is good. The prices are very fair for what you get. If it’s your first time there just get what I get, if you don’t like crispy the get it grilled. That’s the OG chicken sub everyone is trying to recreate. It all started at albasha. The classic grilled chicken sub with cheese corn mayo and black olive. It started on Warren Ave in east Dearborn.“
