Burger Restaurants near River Rouge

“Love this place. Been coming here for 40 years. Always clean, always on point. This place has never underperformed on any level. The staff is super rad and friendly. Easy to find in River Rouge. Right on Jefferson across from McDonalds and Memorial Park. Banana Split Blizzard for the win!“

“great place 💯👌🏼 love it.....“

“Haven't been here in awhile. Now I remember why. Waited almost 10 minutes at the counter before anyone took my order. They could have attest acknowled they knew I was waiting to be served instead of rolling their eyes and giving dirty looks. The food sucked fries where cold and tough.
The guy cleaning the lobby just starts spraying stuff on the floor not caring g if he gets it on you then left the floor so wet you basically slipped your way out the door.“

“I just had this burger for the first time and I’m looking no further! By far one of the best burgers I ever had! They use steak -ground IN HOUSE! Fries are exceptional! I’m a customer for life! Ask for Mo! I had to call him back after one bite to let him KNOW! Tell him Paula sent you! You won’t regret it!!!!“

“I took my girlfriend to The Avenue Brunch House on Michigan Ave in Dearborn to celebrate her birthday, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The restaurant is beautiful inside, the wait was short, and our server, Veronica, was absolutely wonderful. The food—wow!—large portions, perfectly cooked, and reasonably priced. The drinks were excellent too. It was the perfect birthday brunch for her and a great time for both of us. A true gem in Dearborn—highly recommended!“

“The burgers are full of flavor and the cajun fries are amazing. the waiting time could be a little long but i’ve been to this place many times to asure you guys the food is amazing. i still have to ask why they took the mozarella sticks out of the menu, like come on😭 it was the best part. i still recommend this place 100% but please bring the Flaming Hot Mozarella Sticks back!“

“Wow the burgers were amazing ! We tried a couple different options, their loaded fries and regular fries with seasoning. Burgers were nice and juicy, loaded fries had tons of protein and the regular fries had a really nice seasoning. Would love to visit again !!“

“This place is amazing! The food was seriously so good. I ordered the chicken bowl with Cheetos, and I’m not gonna lie, it was probably the best bowl I’ve ever had. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and was made really well.

The workers were also very nice and welcoming, and my food came out really quick. You can tell they care about the quality of their food and service.

Definitely an amazing spot in Melvindale. I’ll definitely be coming back again! Highly recommend!“

“We dined at Gilligan's last evening for my daughter's birthday. The food was delicious, good value and abundant portions. Our server "Kai" was amazing! Friendly, accommodating, smiling, checking in on us frequently and even took a minute to have a discussion with my special needs grandson. To the team at Gilligans, keep up the good work! See you next month...reservation already made, hoping for another great experience.“

“good place, there is quite a lot of people, not crowded though. There were plenty of seats available but the bar seats were taken. I got the burger I'm sorry if I didn't take a picture of it before but I ate that up. Pls go there it good“

“Amazing food! So great, no matter what i write here could surmount to the generations old technique applied here. Simple. Nothing over the top. No gimmicks, AT ALL. A surprising lack of gimmicks, is very inviting, along with the prices! Which if you’re one your way home from a night on the town, and seeing those stadium prices. Its like a step back in time. When everything was simpler and made more sense. God bless Telway!“

“Oh my god this burger was so amazing and the good burger sauce was good also 5/5 for me“

“I have lunch here about every two weeks. My best impression, is having a floor manager, visit the table, during my visit, to ask if all is well. Having that backup, besides a waitress, is excellent customer care!“

“Great people, great food. Friendly staff, delicious burgers.“

“this place is amazing very good food I would be back to eat there again. the owner is very nice and polite. I give this place 100 starts.“

“My whole family loves Tasteey Burger! I usually make burgers at home, but whenever we’re tired, busy with work, or while our kitchen is torn apart for remodeling, the first thing that comes to mind is Tasteey Burger. Always fresh, tasty, and reliable—highly recommend!“

“When arriving at cash register to order my lunch, I was welcomed and thanked for coming in. Quick and easy service by the team. I’m pretty sure the person at cash was the franchise manage because he truly cared about providing good service. He also did a quick tour of floor and picked up anything he saw. The restaurant was clean and played good tunes during my short stay.“

“1. -- burgers are phenomenal, by far best we have had. never overcooked, always juicy and so flavorful. 2. -- staff & service. I have yet to find another place in Dearborn with friendlier staff. I have always been welcomed with a "hello, how are you". even with masks on, you can hear the kindness in the tone of their voices. 3. -- CHICKEN BACON RANCH WRAP ON TOMATO BASIL. that's all I'll say to that. we are always impressed with every order we have made. thank you Zo and all the guys, you are all great!!“

“Haven’t been in a while but I constantly think about how good and inexpensive my Chicken Shawarma wrap and Fattoush Salad was. I will never forget the workers being so welcoming and kind. You guys will see me soon, keep up the good work❤“

“very very good food and awesome staff!“

“It’s a food truck in a Shell gas station (that’s where we got drinks 😄). We ordered several things…but OG smash burger, honey garlic chicken, and plain salted fries - ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The burger was juicy and had a lot of flavor. Honey garlic chicken was made really well. The fries tho…it’s been awhile since I had fries that I just want to devour by themselves without any other condiments and I could’ve totally eaten an entire large order by myself! That’s how good they were. (Pictured are the Cheeto burger, smash fries, and plain fries)“

“Great food, service, and atmosphere.“

“Our new favourite restaurant!! We've had a hard time finding somewhere to eat because our son has Celiac. Joe Schmoes has amazing food all around but my son LOVED his burger and fries!! We all loved our food and the service was great!! So awesome finding somewhere that was very knowledgeable about celiac and we can't recommend it enough!!“

“Great 'dive' bar with real good food and an exceptional jukebox.“

“Kristian was so insanely sweet and provided such a wonderful experience for my family and I. My son loved him and so did we! He was excellent at communicating, very personable and incredibly friendly. He also was very attentive to little details during our time at the restaurant despite having so many other customers to take (wonderful) care of.
To Dawn, you’ve got an amazing member of your team!
We’ll be back!“

“I'm a creature of habit so I almost always get the same thing, but if it ain't broke don't fix it! Crispy Chicken Salad with beet dressing (because the beet dressing is incredible!)“

“Thank you for great lunch My kids had blast one of her 1st time in nice place to eat that was not fast food. She was younger when cov19 happened so going out to eat is still new to her. She felt so special and want to come again“

“Great burger!! Sitting at the bar was the best choice because Ashley the bartender is a 12/10 with service, personality and fun! 1st time here and we will be back!“

“Was amazing!! Everything was so tasty. You can tell the fries were fried in beef tallow. Highly recommend!! 🍔💪💥“

“My party of 2 got there at shift change for an early dinner and were seated right away.

Our server Allison was a bit hands-off after we got our appetizer and ordered our burgers but she was very friendly. Just had to flag her down to ask for a refill on my water.

Food was delicious as I’ve found in my previous HopCat experiences. Didn’t even have time to take a picture of our pretzel bite appetizer because it was eaten up so quickly (mostly by me, no shame here). By far the best pretzel bites I’ve had since I can remember.

I got the hangover helper burger which I had at another HopCat in Ann Arbor, MI and it remains my favorite. Definitely would recommend, especially for those who haven’t had egg on their burger before.“
