“Stopped here on our way out of town and SO glad we did!!! The gingerbread latte and chestnut mocha are both to die for! The molasses cookie that came with the gingerbread latte was also amazing. On top of that, the atmosphere is so cool. Definitely do yourself a favor and stop by when you’re in Sutton’s Bay!“

“This has been my family’s favorite coffee shop for years, and I know that it’s a favorite of many other locals. It’s the best simple cup of coffee in town. My order is basically always the same - coffee (whatever unflavored roast is on offer that day) with room for cream (real half and half that you add yourself) and a blueberry lemon scone (they aren’t particularly moist which means they go perfect with a cup of coffee). My kids love the kid’s hot cocoa with whipped cream, and whenever there are holiday iced butter cookies they love to get those too. It’s a small shop with stool seating for maybe 4 people inside and a few small tables outside. Service is friendly - just go in and go all the way to the left to order drinks and then move along to the right and order bakery items from the cashier, then move around the corner to the right to wait for your drinks after you pay. There are usually parking spots available on the street outside, and if not there are also two spots in the parking lot next to the shop.“

“Probably one of the best iced mochas around! The chicken pesto sandwich was great and the breakfast burrito was yummy. Only issue is that one of the staff members was not as good as the other staff at the time. The staff member who took our order didn’t get it put in correctly, which we shrugged off initially. Later, we asked for a refill of water and the same staff member said that they “could” give us a refill, but that there is a water fountain in the hallway… weird experience with that employee. Oh well, the rest of the experience was decent.“

“My wife and I were looking for a taste of home while we were away on honeymoon. We decided to come by Hexenbelle for its food and drink. We not only found the familiar flavors of fresh bread, savory olive, and creamy labneh, but we found a warmth from the surrounding atmosphere and staff. We were immersed in light toned woods, lush green plants, and ample sunlight, as if we were relaxing in a sunroom or a garden.
We had an opportunity to speak to the owner, Chris, who welcomed us and gave us his attention despite also running the kitchen. Chris has been doing a great service to bring hearts and minds together for peace, prosperity, and freedom, both within Traverse City and for the Palestinian people. His love and passion shows in every dish he crafts, and we are forever grateful for the warmth, friendship, and hospitality that he extended us.
Hexenbelle is truly a rare and valuable gem amongst the many cafes and eateries in the area. I believe Hexenbelle is the best and only choice for authentic Palestinian cuisine and hospitality in Traverse City.

“Great selection and friendly service with fair pricing. First time here, tried the Mexican Mocha Latte without cinnamon - mocha latte with a pinch of cayenne pepper - it's great. We decided to relax and enjoy our drinks and the sitting areas are comfortable and cozy, with enough room to talk without feeling like you have to whisper. All with a nice view of Traverse Bay across the road. We'll be back“

“Seven Brew (7B) drive thru has literally every option... superb customer service. The crew was fast and friendly.
Kid-friendliness: Allows the kids to get creative with their drink order.
Parking: Just a drive thru, but huge parking lot surrounding the area as well as a nice road side park with walking trails nearby. Three drinks and a muffin top under $20.“

“To the wonderful lady employee who complimented my gf’s appearance and nails, while serving her drink, you have made a impact on her day she immediately called me to let me know how nice you were and how it made her day ! Thank you for keeping her happy while I’m at work :)!“
“I worked at Starbucks for seven years, and this store is so far behind standard that even I would never go back. I walked into the store, and even though there were four people working (and three people in the lobby who already had their coffee), nobody greeted me. I stood at the register for a while before anyone even acknowledged me. Finally, a barista yelled at someone in the back "Someone's up front for you". and then THAT person replied "I can't come up will you get it?" So the original barista, who had been completely ignoring me, greeted me and asked what I would like. I was going to get something from their pastry case, but I noticed many gnats in the case, which I mentioned. The barista outright lied to me, saying "oh, we don't serve anything from the case" (why are there two and three of everything in this case, then? I doubt the store manager is okay with that much product waste) "corporate won't give us plastic pastries so we put these out and then throw them all away, every night." Yeah, I don't believe a word of that. I'm sure that there are extra pastries that are not in the case that you serve, but I don't believe for a minute that you never serve any of the pastries from the case. It had two slices of banana nut loaf, but only one slice of pumpkin loaf (where was the second slice?). It had tons of cake pops in it (that you just...throw away every night?) No way. So I declined any pastries. I only get one drink at Starbucks, and I order it the same every time. I always get a grande 5 pump breve no water chai with whip. I ordered it exactly like this and the cashier charged me. I waited for the baristas to make my drink. They didn't seem to know who should make the beverages for the cafe, as all of them were doing drive through drinks. One person came along and put four, not five, pumps of chai in my cup. A few minutes later, someone else came along and took over the drink. I asked if they put 5 pumps in, and she said no, that's not what I ordered. So she adds the extra pump - thanks. I was watching them make my drink. I did not see any half and half (the "breve") used. It looked like she just poured milk in a used pitcher (not supposed to combine cold milk with warm milk). I didn't say anything, because maybe they have a container that looks like milk jugs for their half and half, idk. Anyways, after waiting longer than sbux standards (there is a corporate two minute goal for drink waiting), she put a drink out. She didn't make eye contact with me, didn't call my name, she didn't call out the drink, nothing. I wasn't sure if maybe some of the people who were already seated in the lobby were waiting for another drink, so I wasn't sure if it was even my drink. Anyways, I finally figure out that it's my drink, and I look at the label. All it said was grande chai with breve. I opened up the lid and noticed that she didn't put whipped cream on there either. I almost went back to correct the drink, but changed my mind. I had a feeling these kinds of employees would spit in your drink if they didn't like you. not saying that's what they did, or would do, but I felt that vibe BIG TIME. I drove away, and tasted my chai. it didn't taste like it was made with half and half. It was also barely warm. I think they used leftover milk from someone else's drink. In my opinion, this Starbucks is dirty, the employees are careless and rude, they don't get your drink right, and they dont communicate. it was like being around a bunch of surly high schoolers. I'm never going back.“

“Breakfast at Bud's in Interlochen. Like a Coffee House, sort of, but bigger.. Order food at the counter and they bring it to you by calling your name. Good flavor on the French Toast. There is a patio you can enjoy a lunch sandwich. Dark cabin ambiance. A must go if up in the area.“
