Visited Irons over the weekend with a group of 11 to ride the trails. We first tried Brooks for breakfast and were blown away by the quality of the food. Everyone loved their meal. The gravy is a must add to any item. Long story short we ended up coming back for dinner, back for breakfast, and picked up dinner again it was so good. Every time I am near Irons we eat here and for a northern Michigan restaurant, in a small town, the food is consistently good. It is not just processed food. The Chef makes his own bread and creates delicious meals. Their breakfast is fantastic too.

What a find! Best breakfast around. Homemade bread for their French toast, homemade biscuits and gravy that are to die for and wonderful service. Plus the fact that you can get a Bloody Mary too is great If you haven’t given them a try it’s certainly worth the stop. They even have ice cream service nowKid-friendliness: Great atmosphere with lots of space for kids to run around
