“I lived in the Chicago area for many years and was super stoked to try this place out. I got the Chicago dog and cheese fries. They totally hit the spot. I can’t wait to try the Italian beef and I really regret not getting the dessert special when I was there.The place is pretty small so not ideal for large parties and call ahead take out is a good idea. Every employee I encountered was friendly and the service was pretty quick. There were four orders ahead of me when I walked in and I didn’t have to wait too long for mine. I’ll definitely be enjoying more meals from here.“
“I stopped in here with a friend because the smell outside calls you lol and i got the catfish dinner and yams and I must say it's some of the best fish I've had in a while made with love like granny was in the kitchen lol..no meat but my friend said the rib tips, brisket and baked beans a -1 definitely will be one of my stops when I'm in K zoo“

“my husband and I and my sister was just there Thursday 3/22/23 and the food was better than I remembered and the coffee was fantastic im glad they had French vanilla creamer, my sister and I got the French toast with a side of ham and it was fantastic my husband got eggs, hashbrowns , toast , bacon and ham the service was fantastic as well .. I would definitely recommend this place 10/10“

“I can be critical of sushi and sashimi restaurants, but this place hits the spot. I recommend the Alaskan Roll. It's a solid and generous portion. For something smaller the Rainbow Roll is fresh and nicely prepared. My only suggestion I have is that some of the fried rolls are available in a non-fried variety .Courteous staff, and nice ambience. I definitely recommend this place.“
“I live near Muskegon and my dad is in Kalamazoo. today is his birthday and since I couldn't make it down to see him I ordered Dickie's for delivery for him since he has no way to get around town right now. The staff were so kind and wrote him a happy birthday note and slipped him a chocolate chunk cookie for a birthday dessert. Thank you for helping me make my dad's birthday a little better.“
“I had the pulled pork sandwich (it's really big) yeah that's what she said. Loved the spicy BBQ sauce. Mac n cheese & slaw are fantastic too! The strawberry cheesecake ice cream is heaven. I've paid much more for a smaller serving and and bland at other places.“
