So I'm homeless and practically always strapped for cash. Then here comes the East Egg with a program that provides meals to the needy for free, people pay ahead. So I got the Eggs and Toast. Flavorful Scrambled Eggs and Rye Toast with Butter and Grape Jelly. Didn't have a long wait to sit or eat and on top of that they do free refills! Our waiter was super nice and the place was clean with no bad smells. Highly recommended.

This was my first experience at East Egg and based on it, I'd go back.
Alicia was our waitress and she was excellent.
The food portions were ample, delicious and the prices were reasonable.
Located very near the campus of WMU. We visited East Egg on a week day between semesters and it was not busy. I can't comment on the traffic when school is in full session.
Very much worth a try. Highly recommend.

Love this place!! The staff is so kind… I told the owner it was my first time and she made me a free cinnamon roll pancake with love. I got the eggs Benedict which were also largely portioned for the low price. Highly recommend. A Kalamazoo staple!
